The Walmart Portrait Studio is a good value for money. The first time I used the studio was for my son's christening photos. Like most new parents I got sucked into spending way too much money. I ended up spending well over $100 for the CD and multiple poses. I have since wised up, joined the Portrait Smiles Club that entitles you to a free 8 x 10 photo every month and have learned to just pick one pose to keep cost down. You can't beat 39 prints for $9.99.There is now also an option of getting a mobile download which is great for the Facebook age.
I am now a pro at getting a great value for money and go there for every major holiday/milestone. The photographer Rachel is wonderful and very professional. I am always very happy with my prints. I have also ordered photo greeting cards two years in a row. The main downside to the studio is that the props and backgrounds are very limited. There are not many backgrounds to choose from and props are a bit worn. Additionally, the studio hours have become increasingly limited. Overall a great value for money. read more
