Have always been to rt 1 and rt 27 Walmarts . This one is no different . They have a dominos pizza shop inside and also have other services like optical, photo center, pharmacy etc . Some food products and frozen items are good . I don't buy electronics much from Walmart . Have never been good. Clothing is ok z veggies , fruits are good. They mostly made the checkouts as self-checkouts. Can't see many employees these days for help and in checkouts. Parking is good outside . Lots of space . Returns are a hassle here . With all that is going on with the Covid. It shows that folks shop till the spend their last dollar. Pretty much nothing on shelves here. Little to nothing. They have towels and cleaner at front for customers to wipe down the cart before you use it. Was nice to see they had someone disturbing Toilet tissues, paper towels and alcohol one pack at a time. Sip many people get one. Sad part was the arrogant and rude folks that were mad because they wanted more. Shop I commend the staff for keeping the crowd down and to a low roar. I visited this location on 3/21/2020 for a bike I saw online. Even though it was only showing "limited stock" and no where to be found on the floor, Sam from maintenance who happened to be walking pass went out of his way to check the back of the warehouse and found me the exact one I was looking for which turned out to be the only one left. He also stopped his work and brought the bike to the self checkout station for me, assisted me in ringing up the product and proceeded to bring it to my truck and loaded it up for me. He went above and beyond to make sure all went well. He's a great asset to the company and hope Walmart realizes that. Thanks to Sam, made a happy customer. read more

Indian workers are racist. My husband and I are preparing to send my son away to an advanced college program. The lady was so busy watching us like a hawk she failed to notice that the couple to the left of us that was also Indian failed to ring up several items. I'm an African-American woman who was shopping with her husband and son. I confronted her about it. She denied it of course, but didn't say anything to the couple that was stealing. I'd suggest better training and education on typecasting people because of stereotypes that she internalizes as real. read more

I'm uncertain why this store has a phone number...they NEVER answer the phone. I've called them multiple times in the past and no one answers. So I'm not sure why I thought they might improve their very poor customer service for basically answering a phone call and MAYBE asking the person to "hold on" then come back and attend to the call. But I was very wrong! They just ignore the ringing phone! I lost my prescription sunglasses there on 11/19/2022; I gave them the time that I came to the store and the time that I realize the glasses were missing. After searching for about 40 mins and giving my information to customer service to call me in the event someone turned my glasses in, I decided to speak with management to see if they can look at their security footage. I was told that they usually don't check security for one person, so I thought to myself, I'm certain if this one person was stealing from their store they would check the security tape. Then I was told if I'm ok getting a call at 11pm, they would check the 1/2 hour I was in the store and give me a call at that time. I left the store feeling a false sense of confidence that the person would give me a call as promised. But in good ol' Walmart fashion, they didn't live up to their promise...I got NO call at 11pm from the guy I spoke with. So the next morning I decided to call at 8:10am; the phone rang for 5 minutes and eventually disconnected me because no one picked up the phone...what great customer service!!!, they can't even find time to answer a phone call early in the morning. Do they even have a phone or is it just a phone number to nowhere!!! It is clear that Walmart don't care about the customers, they just care that we still spend our hard earned money with them...SHAMEFUL!!!! This Walmart is pretty basic but they have your everyday necessities. There is a McDonald's, eye doctor, and a pharmacy inside of this Walmart. It's ALWAYS busy in there and of course there's usually never enough people ringing up causing the lines to be painfully long. My favorite time to shop is between 10pm and 12 am when they close. When you go at later times there are less crowds but be mindful that this is the time that they restock so the shelves obviously won't be completely stocked. I come to this Walmart for any and everything. I have also been coming to this Walmart for years. For the most part I know where everything is so I don't really deal with the employees. If I ever do have a question the employees are helpful with whatever it is. Other than the long lines and crowds this Walmart is not so bad. read more

Worst customer service experience I've ever had at a Wal-Mart. I went to this location because I saw an IN STORE deal on the website that was only in stock there. I went to the electronic section in the back where the elder lady there was extremely rude while telling me they wouldn't honor it. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and instead of calling for one, she told me I would have to walk all the way to the front of the store customer service and wait. I spoke to three representatives at customer service and they all agreed the IN STORE promotion on the website should be honored and to go get the product and bring it back. The lady in the back continued to be rude and told me I can't take merchandise that's on the shelves like I'm some thief. She makes me wait while continuously making condescending snarks and finally grabs the products and walks to the front. I already got the vibe she was going to talk them out of it so I followed and she told me to stand back. I followed because I knew what she was trying to do and she starts dissuading customer service from following through on what they said they would do. I asked to speak to a manager. They had me wait for half an hour, repreatedly calling for her on the intercom and finally a kid named Mike (couldn't have been more than 18 years old) comes up acting as if he's the supervisor. He tells me I would have to call customer service and make a complaint. Me not believing he was actually a supervisor, requested to speak to the store manager. He claimed the one they had been calling for (Gloria) for the last half hour had went home. I call the 1-800 customer service and was waiting on hold for quite a while so I said I'd finish my grocery shopping and come back. After 20+ minutes of waiting, I finally got someone on the phone and they also pulled up the listing on the website and agreed that it should be honored. I go to the front and request the actual store manager to relay what they told me. Gloria (apparently she teleported back from going home for the day) was already in the front belittling my request before even hearing me out. I showed her the website and even told her I had customer service on the phone, and she continued to walk away after spending maybe 30. She said she'll be back. When she came back, she just walked by me while ignoring the fact that even the 1-800 customer service agreed that it should be honored. Customer service filed a detailed report and the actual store manager is supposedly going to call me sometime next week. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it --- when I checked out, I was purchased plastic containers that I wanted price matches from Amazon. According to Wal-Mart.com, they price match Amazon as long as it's not a 3rd party seller. I've had multiple Wal-Marts price match for me in the past. The representative at the self checkout line responds all ghetto and ignorant saying Wal-Mart doesn't price match anyone. I did not feel like arguing so I literally pulled up Wal-Mart's price match policy that sides with me and she continues to act ignorant as if she will not price match. I ask to speak to a supervisor and she just walks away mumbling something. I figured she would end up getting one. Finally Gloria shows up, off the rip, trying to act condescending -- "Not him again..." in front of the other customers. She started walking away before I could say anything and I rushed to show her the policy and she continued to state that "her Wal-Mart" will not price match. I repeatedly tried to show her the policy and she refused. Spoke to Wal-Mart customer service and they agreed that the way they handled it was unacceptable and that I would receive a call from the actual store manager and eventually someone from upper management beyond the store. They need to start hiring people who actually know how to treat a customer and speak proper English that don't throw around an ignorant offensive disposition. Never shopping there again. read more

As I walked in this Walmart with my five year old son, they had these posters near where you walk in. Too obvious to miss. They were advertising ghostbusters products (see picture) and my so got super excited about the ghost, which was $2.97. We rushed back to the toy section (which the poster said "in the toy aisle) and NOTHING from the poster was there! Only plushies. I asked some people nearby and they were clueless! One said "in the toy section" with hands waiving a surface area in the air. Honestly, I like people who are definite and know EXACTLY where something is. I work sales at Costco and trust me, if I don't know where it is, I will tell you "I will find someone who knows". However, the customer service and knowledge of the associates is terrible to say the least. There is rarely anyone around to assist if you have a question and if you do find one they know nothing. What can I say that hasn't already been said about Walmart? This particular one is decent. It's located in a plaza with a bunch of other stores. There's plenty of parking. Most of the cashiers and customer service representatives have a pretty terrible attitude. Many of them do not even speak English very well, which can be a little annoying if you are looking for something uncommon. The bathrooms are usually pretty filthy. I know Walmart does not attract the cleanliness of patrons, but I do feel it is management's responsibility to keep facilities like that in good condition. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WALMART!!! I dread coming here if we need something. Asking for help is a joke sometimes, because people can't point you to the correct people to help you if they can't or speak any English. They have a HUGE communication problem on how the speak to you in the store, sometimes with wrong instructions and I question if they know how to speak English properly with correct vocabulary to what certain words and phases mean. Walmart owns VUDU and when I came to them a couple of years ago about helping me convert my movies, they looked at me like I had 2 heads. Management said their is only one employee who takes care of that in their whole staff when I complained. It took forever to get a manger on the phone too. Ridiculous. Their check out lines are too long and they don't enforce the speedy 20 items or less rule at their lines and you wait forever to get out of there if you have to buy a few items like I did yesterday and witnessed it twice in two separate lines. I questioned the one cashier about her math skills how to count, because she said that person had less than 20 items, and I clearly counted over 20. Afterward, I called management over the phone and customer service is a joke, because no one picks up the phone for management or a voice box picks up either. When I got a hold of management after calling again, she acts like all the cashiers enforce the 20 items of less rule and I explained to her why did it happen to me twice in two lines? A few weeks ago, when I was in the self checkout line and all the registers were taken,the one I go to that was open, the plastic shopping bags on the rack were not set up for taking and they are impossible to separate unless you moisten you fingers which is not sanitary. The attendant finally came over and she insulted me with a question, are these baby clothes for your grandchild? I said no, it is for my son. She said she was sorry. Smh. The Bathrooms are poorly kept too and very dirty. Once I was in a customer service line to return something and there was 17 people in front of me and 10 behind me. A manger came over and said next people in line come with me to the other side of the store pointing and looking at one pair customers together. I waited and waited in line for like 8 minutes. The manager came over and said to me, why didn't you come I was waiting for you? I was like you never acknowledged I was here, just them you wanted. Once I bought a grill here in 2010 and a employee tried to shove the huge box in the back seat of my car and scratched my car in the meantime. Idiot! The manager "SAPNA B" is totally awful person. Very bad jealous about the customer items. Last week we went to price match the Lenovo tab, but she said she will do it. Once she find the price is 3 times lesser, immediately she turned down and said "This is the online item, which will be sent to the walmart.com processing center and then only you can buy again". Auto department is terrible. I tried to drop off a wheel to get a tire more than an hour before they closed, would not let me leave the wheel to pick up the next day. A bunch of monkeys work here. I've been coming here for twenty years. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I was there just today and one worker was complaining to the other worker about why there are so many customers 'always around and in the way'. The other employee was laughing loudly. Not two minutes later I hear someone screaming like a monkey: it was an employee and two other employees were laughing along. If I were to complain at my job about 'how many customers there were' (when customers pay employee pay checks) or if I were to scream like a monkey at my job, I wouldn't have a job. It's best to avoid this place like the plague. Their customer service is atrocious. You don't even get a simple "hi" when you walk up to the register. And the lines for the registers are always ridiculous, including the express lanes. Too many times I have got stuck behind someone who has 30 items at the register that clearly says 10 items or less. The entire store is in complete disarray and is chaotic. The store is filthy too, especially the bathroom. Well it's official. Wal-Mart has lost a customer due to the denomination of $5.00. $5.00 that they would have eventually been reimbursed by a product manufacturer. After my morning run this morning I decided to stop by my local Wal-Mart in Piscataway, NJ to pickup a can of formula for my 3 month old son. After picking up the cans of Enfamil Gentlease ready to feed formula, which is the only one my son can have due to his sensitive stomach, I waited on line ready to be rung out. The cashier rang up my items, after which I handed her an Enfamil Check for the denomination of $5.00 off of any Enfamil Formula Product. A check that Enfmail has sent me many of, that I have used multiple times at many other retailers to purchase the same type and same amount of formula. What was her response? "Sorry, you can't use this", "Why not?", "You have to get the powdered Formula.", "My son doesn't eat powdered formula.","You have to get one of the items in the picture", "he doesn't eat the items in the picture", "You Can't use this coupon for this", "Why?", "Because this one item is only $8.00. You need to spend more than $30.", "Nowhere on that check does it say I have to spend more than $30.", "No, you have to buy more than this.", "Okay, no problem, have a good day." And I walked out. Thus concludes the last encounter I will ever have at a Wal-Mart. $5.00 that would have eventually been reimbursed by Enfamil, was what ultimately caused Wal-Mart to show a customer to the door never to return again. What this particular Wal-Mart doesn't realize is that accross the street is a Shop-Rite (that gladly accepted Enfamil's check), up the block is a Target (that has accepted Enfamil's check from me before), a Stop & Shop (that has accepted Enfamil's check from me before), and a Walgreens (that has accepted Enfmail's check from me before). This particular Wal-Mart needs to realize they are not the only option in town, and Target as well as other retailers have just as low if not equally low prices on most or all the products I purchase from these stores. Could this attitude towards the almighty dollar be coming from up the corporate ladder? Does Wal-Mart really just care about selling products with the most profit margins? I can only hope one day that Wal-Mart decides it's customers are more important than the $5.00 bill they would have been without for a couple days while they waited for that check to clear. But alas, as I've said - Wal-Mart isn't the only option in town, and I will just use those retailers going forward. read more
