I usually have good experiences with Walmart's pharmacy, but not recently. I refill one medicine that seems to create problems during checkout. I had questions because I was about to be charged twice as much for the medication. No one could tell me why it was costing more, and was just telling me to call my insurance company. It was Saturday, they probably weren't open. I did tap my billfold on the counter and ask questions. Never did I curse or threaten the clerk. It's really not that serious.
As the clerk and I were figuring things out, a dark-complexioned bald man with glasses came to the window and asked the clerk if I had threatened her. Ridiculous! When I told him I hadn't, he proceeded to yell and argue with me. In the midst of his hissy fit, I told him several times that I just wanted to pay for my meds and GO.
A white woman in a lab coat come over and actually explained why my meds cost what they did. After someone actually answered my question I was paying for my meds. Bald head was still talking and arguing. He says, "oh, she'll be nice to her." Yes, I was nice to the person who was intelligent enough to answer the question. I came to the pharmacy to get my meds, not argue with a fool.
Point being, the dark complexioned black man escalated a situation the could have been handled peacefully if my question was answered. read more
