Note: Pharmacy is closed from 1:30pm to 2:00pm both drive up window as well as walk in pharmacy inside. I had to wait but it was useful to pick up other items. We had to switch insurance due to my husband having been laid off and subsequently getting a new position. In the interim, we had to send out to India to get my daughter's asthma medicine while my husband's new job kicked in for his benefits. When the aetna benefits came, we immediately went to pick up the prescription from our normal pharmacy at JC but were told that there was a problem with the ins and we had to wait until the next week to get it straightened. We were panicking as the last shipment from overseas hadn't come in on time. We called the pharmacist at Binghamton and he was amazing. He did some investigation for us and found that our new ins went through a thrid party for prescriptions then went out of his way to find the group number to use. On top of this, my husband's new employer submitted the date of birth backwards; something so little but that pharmacist caught it after looking up our old insurance we had at walgreens. It took him three different calls on and off for some hours and a lot of extra work for him. We will always be indebted to him for that as he literally saved my daughter's life. He changed it manually in the system and did this twice until the place my husband worked would finally get it changed in their system (what a nightmare). They are always so friendly, helpful and worth the extra drive. On top of this, Walgreens is now my go to during the coronavirus (Johnson City and Binghamton) as they are implementing stricter guidelines for wearing masks in the store and it's the only place I feel relaxed and safe enough to get anything in person right now. I go for literally everything; even food items now. I really just can't say enough about how much I appreciate them. THANK YOU!

While shopping, an older woman…read morepulled me aside and told me I "can't do too many transactions because the blonde girl gets cranky." When I told her this was my first time here, she gave me a rude look and condescendingly asked, "Are you sure?" Her tone was unnecessary and unprofessional. It's ridiculous for employees to discourage customers from making legitimate purchases just because a worker "gets cranky." That is their job. The entire interaction felt discriminatory, and I do not feel welcome here. I won't be back.

I would also like CVS to have a immediate contact us page where we could deliver orchid letters. I tried to find some way to compliment him. The contact page has a physical address and a phone number. Instead I will call the manager of the store tomorrow to speak with her directly. When asked, they FORGET to order the necessary generic; IF it arrives, they FORGET to take it off the truck. If you call the pharmacy, you have to BEG to be allowed to speak with a human. Instead, you can listen to their lame telephone script every 30 seconds or so. Did you know they have a lunch break at 1:30 p.m.? Well, you WILL after hearing it half a dozen times! Oh, and their on-hold music truly STINKS! Use this Walgreens ONLY if you truly must. (They love selling vaccines, though. Have five or six at a single sitting.)
