The staff, literally all of them, are nice people with hearts of gold (and to them, I am sorry for your recent loss) There are literally only two compounding pharmacies in the Toledo region, and these pharmacies serve in a vital and personalized niche industry. Bruderer was cheaper than the other option on Secor/central in toledo (75 dollars vs 115). This is one of three medications that I am on, but the only one that requires a compounding pharmacy -- therefore it is the only prescription I have filled at a compounding pharmacy. Usually the wait times here are 1-5 minutes, today it was a bit longer, but still flowing, and everyone on staff was making sure everyone in line was already taken care of, their prescriptions were at the counter, and they just needed to take care of payment and the usual consent stuff once they got to the counter (There was a recent death on their stuff, someone who was vital to the functioning of the compounding area, so things have been a little slow the past week.. this is not their fault, and they are handling it as well as they can) You will be treated like family here. I have nothing but good things to say about the head pharmacist and all of her staff. She treats you like a real person, is willing to consult privately f you have complex concerns, and I have nothing bad to say at all. Anyway, I've said my part. I also want to mention that this is 100% my opinion, I was never asked to review this place, and I am a random person who started coming in about 6 months ago for a prescription that I was previously filling elsewhere. There simply is no other option when it comes to doing what they do and we are lucky that one of only two compounding pharmacies in the area is as good to their clients as Bruderer is (Btw -- service at the other place was just fine, this is in no way talking them down) People need to learn to know what compound pharmacies are for and whether they should use one. This is not just a "Family-owned pharmacy" that distributes pills from pill companies -- they make your prescription in an on-site lab; you can even watch through a window to see inside this lab. Given that my B.S. is in microbiology -- it's actually kind of fun to watch for a minute or two when i have the time ! :D

The pharmacy team alone deserves 10 stars…read more My parents had used this pharmacy for years , and over the years of visiting my parents and doing errands for them I knew this team is great But then came a fire ... a big, big fire , and this team stepped up. One summer night as I was there visiting, my parents house burnt down --- burnt down fast . Nothing was left That same day of the fire my parents had refilled almost all their medicines . This is a mom who has had a liver transplant and a father who had had heart issues, lung cancer and more During the fire we escaped with nothing - no phones , no shoes, just us , their dog and the clothes on our back . During the sirens of the fire engines I borrowed a phone and I spoke to my sister in GA ( a nurse) and she immediately called the team at the Pharmacy in Walgreens and they did the impossible. They called the insurance company and had all the prescriptions refilled and ready for me to pick up ( AND arranged for insurance agency to approve an emergency refill) by opening the next day I have to say after dealing with my parents losing a house , a car, and all their belongings.... and all the emotions that went with it - the first time I cried in that 24 hours was in picking up the prescriptions for my parents and the team asking about them in such an honest and heartfelt caring way All I can say is thank you - it's not enough, but know that your actions are appreciated and I will forever be a faithful Walgreens customer because of this team.

I was smiled at as the pharmacist closed the crank down wall in front of my face ensuring me it was there lunch break. Not a problem, but they had something I NEEDED, so I waited. When the door came rolling back up at a prompt 2:08 I was met with the same Halloween themed crew cut pharmacist. After requesting my information she then proceeded to yell on the phone for the next 20 minutes, alerting EVERYONE in the store, along with the ever growing line behind me. "We don't work with your insurance" I have been going to this pharmacy for years and would know have any idea why that would be. All I was met with was a shrug. Then again I don't know why I would expect an all female establishment with the hair intensity representing every color in the rainbow to be ran better.

Meijer, what good is a 2 for $4 Sale on Zero sugar Snapple Peach tea, if every store we have…read morechecked between Toledo and Cleveland OH is "OUT OF STOCK!!!!!!!!" And you don't do RAINCHECKS. Your store can't seriously make customers believe that you're all about customer service when you're doing these types of things. You treat your employees like SLAVES. You theat customers like we are stupid. You apparently ONLY care about how much your profit margins are. I'm beginning to wonder if you're in a certain "chumps" pocket since you do things to mess with customers ability to purchase cheaper priced products that your own company put on sale.

I went to grab a coffee maker as our coffee maker stopped working this morning. After doing a quick…read moresearch Meijer indicated Keurig K-Express were on sale for 69.99 so I drove all the way to Meijer Maumee, about 15 minutes away. They were priced at 109.00 on the shelf and I asked for a price match. The large stature gentleman with a beard standing behind the checkout immediately told the cashier and me that he doesn't care what the website says, we don't price match, not even if it's our own web price online. He was a bit aggressive, so I took my business somewhere else. He then says I will take 10 dollars off. No thank you, it's cheaper on Amazon but I didn't want to wait. Waste of gas and time. I guess I will call him next time we go shopping and ask him to check the price on items I plan on shopping for before I head there. Make sure he can confirm the price advertised matches the price marked at the store. It's experiences like this and attitudes like he put off that make people want to shop online rather than retail stores. If you don't want to deal with someone asking a simple question, find another job. This guy was the manager, great employee role model to your employees.
