One summer night as I was there visiting, my parents house burnt down --- burnt down fast . Nothing was left That same day of the fire my parents had refilled almost all their medicines . This is a mom who has had a liver transplant and a father who had had heart issues, lung cancer and more During the fire we escaped with nothing - no phones , no shoes, just us , their dog and the clothes on our back . During the sirens of the fire engines I borrowed a phone and I spoke to my sister in GA ( a nurse) and she immediately called the team at the Pharmacy in Walgreens and they did the impossible. They called the insurance company and had all the prescriptions refilled and ready for me to pick up ( AND arranged for insurance agency to approve an emergency refill) by opening the next day I have to say after dealing with my parents losing a house , a car, and all their belongings.... and all the emotions that went with it - the first time I cried in that 24 hours was in picking up the prescriptions for my parents and the team asking about them in such an honest and heartfelt caring way All I can say is thank you - it's not enough, but know that your actions are appreciated and I will forever be a faithful Walgreens customer because of this team.

I was smiled at as the pharmacist closed the crank down wall in front of my face ensuring me it was there lunch break. Not a problem, but they had something I NEEDED, so I waited. When the door came rolling back up at a prompt 2:08 I was met with the same Halloween themed crew cut pharmacist. After requesting my information she then proceeded to yell on the phone for the next 20 minutes, alerting EVERYONE in the store, along with the ever growing line behind me. "We don't work with your insurance" I have been going to this pharmacy for years and would know have any idea why that would be. All I was met with was a shrug. Then again I don't know why I would expect an all female establishment with the hair intensity representing every color in the rainbow to be ran better.

I have 7 prescriptions, and they are supposed to pack them for me, so maybe it's just too much. More than once they have simply failed to deliver my drugs on time. Last time they said later they couldn't get approval for one of the prescriptions, but simply decided not to let me know, so I had no chance to intervene and try to get the prescription approved. I don't know what happened today, but they close early on Saturday, and are not open on Sunday. So I won't get my drugs that regulate my heart until they get around to it maybe on Monday? I'm going to have to switch drug stores AGAIN.

So... why you advertise online that you keep pharmacy open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM when you close for lunch? If you are so rigid about closing for lunch, why don't you keep a sign in the drive through line saying "pharmacy closed"? Why this pharmacy doesn't keep at least a team to deliver medication during others lunch time? I think your stock price is a reflection of your customer treatment. Try to improve that.
