I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible CS. I went to Walgreens on 1/2 at 8:04 am to pick up an rx. Nobody in line at the drive through. I waited ten minutes and nobody acknowledged (pharmacist and assistant kept staring at me, but apparent CS is not their job). I came into the Walgreens and waited another ten minutes at the counter (no other customers) for someone to acknowledge me. This place is the absolute worst. read more

Not that it really matters to anyone that I'm extremely unhappy with the Walgreens in Perrysburg OH but I need to vent because nobody at the pharmacy seems to care. My husbands on Medicare. His prescription plan this year requires we get all his prescriptions from Walgreens. At the beginning of the year things were great. Refills were on time, when a doctor sent over a perscription it was ready the same day. Everyone working there was kind and curteous. Then Rite-Aid closed and everyone that was getting their prescriptions from Walgreens and it has turned into a hell house. I just spent 40 minutes on the phone to discuss one of his prescriptions and I had to hang up at 40 minutes because I do have a life that requires my attention. The whole time I was waiting the voice kept telling me there was one caller ahead of me and someone would be with me shortly. The doctor sent over the prescription for the generic brand and they filled it with the name brand and it's $500. I CANNOT wait until the end of the year so that we can switch plans and get something different because I never ever ever want to set foot in a Walgreens again!! At the pharmacy counter they have a sign that says please be kind to our employees and refrain from disrespectful behavior. Don't you think making me wait on hold for 40 minutes is a little disrespectful? The person caring for you is also someone's loved one? Guess what? I HAVE LOVED ONES AS WELL!!!!!!! If you're not respecting your customers then you can really expect the same from them can you? read more

Walgreens - Maybe you should treat your customers the same way you want to be treated!! - Drugstores Near Me - Perrysburg, Ohio

What a joke. I scheduled an appointment for a flu shot. I have gotten flu shots before and it goes through my medical insurance not my Rx card. They insisted that it goes through my Rx and said they wouldn't cover my flu shot despite my insurance saying it covers flu shots. I could have gone to another pharmacy, but I was very strapped for time and had to get my flu shot that day (my fault- I admit) and I had to get it there since I needed to schedule another appointment elsewhere and there was nothing else available. Cost me $43. It also took 30 minutes past my appointment time to get my shot. I will never go here again. What a joke. read more

The pharmacy team alone deserves 10 stars My parents had used this pharmacy for years , and over the years of visiting my parents and doing errands for them I knew this team is great But then came a fire ... a big, big fire , and this team stepped up. One summer night as I was there visiting, my parents house burnt down --- burnt down fast . Nothing was left That same day of the fire my parents had refilled almost all their medicines . This is a mom who has had a liver transplant and a father who had had heart issues, lung cancer and more During the fire we escaped with nothing - no phones , no shoes, just us , their dog and the clothes on our back . During the sirens of the fire engines I borrowed a phone and I spoke to my sister in GA ( a nurse) and she immediately called the team at the Pharmacy in Walgreens and they did the impossible. They called the insurance company and had all the prescriptions refilled and ready for me to pick up ( AND arranged for insurance agency to approve an emergency refill) by opening the next day I have to say after dealing with my parents losing a house , a car, and all their belongings.... and all the emotions that went with it - the first time I cried in that 24 hours was in picking up the prescriptions for my parents and the team asking about them in such an honest and heartfelt caring way All I can say is thank you - it's not enough, but know that your actions are appreciated and I will forever be a faithful Walgreens customer because of this team. read more

The Pharmacy here is horrible. Mainly, the head Male Pharmacist is extremely rude and inconsiderate. I placed a prescription order before the store opened, and they were unable to complete it before the end of the day. When I arrived 25 minutes before the store closed, I was informed that the prescription wasn't ready and he "didn't have time" to do it before they closed. Really? Terrible customer service, and quite frankly, this guy is a total jerk. I asked 3 times if he could do it for me before the store closed, but to no avail. Terrible. This guy has always been rude. I wish I could treat my customers at my job like he does. The only problem is that I'd get fired. We are changing pharmacies. read more

Came in for an ice cube trey & we couldn't find any after looking around the store so we bought a few things. Had a Walgreens card & none of the sales came up and when we tried to tell her Emma was completely rude about it & said they weren't . We proceeded to ask her to see if there were any ice cube treys and she said" go to Laura in the back" after ringing us out . Also DID NOT GIVE ME ALL MY CHANGE BACK . I'll never be back read more

I called the Walgreens on Fremont Pike today because I was in town for a funeral for my uncle. I wanted to print a photo of my uncle that his daughters wanted at the funeral. I called to be sure it could be printed within the hour. They assured me it could. I printed both an 8x10 and a 5x7. I then got a call back about 15 minutes later to say my 8x10 version had cut some people out (because of how I cropped it for my post - not their fault) How sweet that they were looking out for me. I assured them the 5x7 would be just fine!! I so appreciated compassionate, good customer service for an out-of-towner. Well done Walgreens!!! Thank you for everything. read more

I hardly ever visit a pharmacy but when I do it's this one. Recently with a tired and teething one year old in the backseat. I didn't want to brave getting get it off the carseat just to have to put hey back in a few minutes later. She was on the brink of a meltdown. So I called the pharmacy, stating my need for baby Tylenol and my current predicament, acknowledging that picking up am OTC in the drive-thru wasn't typical. She said she would grab it for me and to drive on up. I was so grateful and they were so nice! She smiled and said "We've been there.". They may be a big name pharmacy..but they have a small town heart! l read more
