I am 6'8", so I understand that my height can make certain medical equipment more challenging to use. During one appointment, I was instructed to lie face down on one of their chiropractic drop tables. I trusted that the table and positioning were appropriate for someone my size. During the adjustment, the chiropractor used the drop mechanism on the upper section of the table while applying significant downward pressure to my upper back/chest area. Because I was not properly aligned on the table, part of my chest remained supported instead of being positioned correctly over the drop section. When the chiropractor applied force and activated the table, I immediately lost all the air from my lungs and gasped in severe, audible pain. What upset me almost as much as the incident itself was the response afterward. Rather than stopping to fully evaluate what had happened or documenting the event, the chiropractor essentially brushed it off. To my knowledge, no incident report was completed, and there was little concern shown despite my obvious distress. After the appointment, I experienced chest and rib pain that lasted for months and affected my daily activities. Several nurses I work with at a nursing home believed my symptoms were consistent with a rib sprain, although I understand they were not providing a formal medical diagnosis. Regardless of the exact injury, I know that I was in significant pain for an extended period following this appointment. I was never offered a refund, compensation, or any meaningful follow-up regarding what occurred. If you're a very tall person like I am, I encourage you to be especially cautious with chiropractic drop tables. Make sure you are properly positioned before any adjustment is performed, and don't hesitate to speak up if the table doesn't feel like it fits your body correctly. While others may have positive experiences, mine was painful and disappointing, and I hope sharing it helps someone else avoid a similar situation.

I didn't want to wait until I was back home to get adjusted so I looked on Yelp! For something nearby in Toledo. It was Saturday morning and most were all closed until Monday... except this place! Based on the great reviews and reasonable price I decided to give it a try. I showed up at 10:30 am Saturday without an appointment. They were very busy but told me I could come back at 2 pm that day to get adjusted. They sent me a text to fill out some paperwork online before my appointment. I completed it and came back at 2 pm and was seen within a few minutes. Dr. Jillian was very funny and personable, and very thorough asking me a lot of questions and examining me for several minutes before she got to work. She was very sensitive to my needs and told me to let her know if I wanted her to stop if the adjustment became too much. She did a complete spinal adjustment up and down my entire spine, including my shoulder, neck, mid/lower back and pelvis. Lots of cracking happened but painless and oh my the relief I felt in my neck and shoulder area was immediate and total! My pelvis was still inflamed she said that I should ice it and get adjusted again next week after I get home to California. But it did feel like she got it "un-stuck" at least even if still a little sore from having been out of place for a few weeks. I highly recommend this place even if you are skeptical of this type of treatment. For a $29 first visit fee you've got nothing to lose and everything to gain! They also have monthly packages which make it even cheaper on a per visit basis! And they have many locations in other states so I'm going to check out the franchise close to my house when I get back home!

This was one of the most important things to me in choosing a chiropractor as I was only going to be in the area for only a few months and wanted to make sure that if I paid for x-rays that I would be able to use them for my next chiropractor. I communicated this to Dr. Gorman, and he was very nice and explained that he would release my x-rays to me so that I could have them when I moved. Before I moved from the area, I asked about them several times, and never received them. After I had moved cross country, I called several times inquiring about the X-rays, but no one ever answered. Finally, I got a hold of the receptionist who told me she could not mail x-rays to me. I am very dissapointed in this business. One of the most important things to me is that a small business is honest - especially when its dealing with your health. I would not trust this doctor's office. I went to this office with moderate to severe pain. I have been a migraine sufferer for years, and have been going to chiropractors since childhood. At first I felt quite comfortable there, staff was friendly, and Dr. Gorman seemed genuinely interested in helping me at the beginning, and I began see improvement in my health. After two visits to the office, I was scheduled to begin seeing him 3 times a week. I have always been told (by every chiropractor I have ever gone to) that I should never go more than twice a week for the type of adjustments I receive. Our bodies need proper healing and adjustment time. At times I was even scheduled for next day appointments.
