X-rays were taken in the office and Dr Marlowe showed me the X-rays while thoroughly explaining my fracture. I found him very knowledgeable and down to earth. Dr Marlowe recommended a consultation with his partner, Dr Walkovich, to discuss the option of surgery. Dr Marlowe and his staff made me feel like a priority in scheduling me very promptly with Dr Walkovich. I saw Dr Walkovich at his Sylvania Avenue office. My X-rays had been forwarded from the Perrysburg office and Dr Walkovich had reviewed them prior to speaking with me. He outlined the pros and cons of surgery vs not having surgery and I opted for surgery. I found Dr Walkovich very knowledgeable, professional, caring and trustworthy. Surgery was scheduled for the next possible opening a few days later. My surgery went well and I have since had two postoperative visits with Dr Walkovich. I believe he sincerely cares about my recovery and takes the time necessary to answer any questions or concerns I have. Every member of his office staff has also been very attentive, professional and caring. Now at four weeks post surgery, I couldn't be happier with my recovery and with Dr Walkovich as well as everyone in his office. I highly recommend this practice!

Now mine was all soft tissue. Complete tears of the medial am distal meniscus and partial patella tendon. He cleaned them up. I got pics to prove. Only took pain meds until last night. Walking around a tiny but sore but so good. Don't be convinced by my review or the bad one. Find someone you trust and go for it. Not everyone gets my result or the 1 star. But he did a good job on me.

As an adult, the frequency of my appointments has shifted -- meaning, I do not go 3-4 times a year as a part of a wellness plan (thanks, Mom!). This past January, I had an accident where I hit my head very hard. After the event, I had pain on both my head and my neck that didn't go away. My mom suggested that I go see Lisa for a session. At the appointment, Lisa very carefully listened to my concerns and within the first few minutes of my session, I could feel the release of tension. By the end of the day, I was walking completely differently feeling incredibly better. Highly recommended for general maintenance, ongoing wellness and, of course, if there is a serious 'incident'.

I had to get a bunch of other testing done to "clear" me to get the surgery redone- Pulmonary tests, bronchoscopy, lab work... All of them showed nothing, no issues. They still charged me for the entire procedure. After a few months (and a new year/deductable) I was able to get it redone. No problems, everything went fine. The anesthesiologist said the tube was probably placed too deep prior as I have a short airway. Cool. So I had to close my business down for recovery TWICE (2 weeks at a time), lost wages, tons of anxiety and stress, and now I get to pay for 2 surgeries on Promedicas mistake. Spoke with billing, Head of surgery, BBB, they dont care. They only care that they had an increase in profit for 2025. You're welcome.

I have been frustrated with the emergency department at this hospital in the past. Not being taken…read moreseriously and treated as a drug seeker. However, this past week, they made up for it. I went in Sunday and was in the ER almost 12 hours before being admitted and in my room. During that time, my nurses were compassionate and attentive. I was very afraid after I was handed off to the surgical team that if they didn't find anything, I'd be sent home and told to see a Dr. Sometimes, it can be difficult to get tests done when you go to the ER. They ran multiple tests. I had emergency surgery, and the nurses I had on the observation floor were just the best. I was never concerned about the care I was getting while there. I wish I could remember all of their names and send thank yous.
