Today's adventure was 2 vaccinations: flu + 2nd shingles shot. Scheduled online and was able to get in the same day. When I showed up (today is Saturday) it was really hopping: they have a little hut outside just for Covid testing. I checked in 15 minutes before my appointment, completed all the paperwork and made my copay. The pharmacist seemed very efficient at processing my shots. The best part of the visit was the nurse that did may injections - what a hoot! She kept the patter going to keep me from getting nervous and even gave me a sucker to send me on my way. Overall a very good experience here. I'll be back!

As many other reviewers have already mentioned, this pharmacy routinely takes multiple days to fill even the most common, straightforward prescriptions, and there is zero transparency about wait times. When you call or show up in person, staff cannot (or will not) provide a simple time estimate, and there is no sense of urgency, accountability, or customer care. The pharmacist's lack of responsiveness has become a consistent pattern, impacting countless customers. At this point, it reflects a serious management and staffing problem. Corporate should be closely evaluating the pharmacist's performance, because this level of delay and indifference is unacceptable for a healthcare provider. However, now that I am no longer on constant pain medications I have had nothing but GREAT experiences there. All of the pharmacy techs are kind, caring and efficient. They remember me, which often surprises me, as I am not there often. That makes the place seem like your hometown pharmacy, which is rare in this impersonal age And they never fail to give my service dog a treat, which makes the experience extra special. These jerks have taken it upon themselves to determine what my doctor can and cannot prescribe because they don't dispense anything with codeine. Their research shows that the others are just as effective. Oh really, then why didn't it work when I had it the first time. You all are freaking ridiculous. Our plan is to balance some restaurant meals with some cooking in the unit and taking along some healthy picnic lunches and snacks on local hikes. We were impressed with the freshness in the produce area, and Walmart had some very good prices on fresh fruit and vegetables -- for instance, avocados at $0.56 each; a big clamshell of organic salad at $4.98; and 3 pounds of apples for $2.67. We also picked up some fast meals so that won't be spending a lot of time cooking while on vacation -- fresh chicken pot pie for $9.44 (4 servings) and a huge, refrigerated 16" supreme pizza for $10.97 that will be at least two meals for both of us. There were A LOT of price rollbacks on products that we looked at. One disappointment was the red plums. The sign said $1.32, which I interpreted as per pound but it turned out to be per piece of small fruit. They must be out-of-season. Another small issue was the signage. For instance, we were looking for mixed nuts and it was hard to ascertain what aisle they were in. A sales associate authoritatively sent us to a wrong aisle! Most of the check-out aisles were self-serve. We had one issue where a product went through at a higher price than expected but an associate came to correct it almost immediately. Parking was free and plentiful. We would visit this Walmart Supercenter again.

The first aid items are extensive and they have a large health and beauty area. They also have a small household supply area and school and office area. The customer service was great. I had two different staff members took me directly to the item I was looking for. When the line started to get long they called someone up to the front right away. Just remember it's about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. I really try to look them in the eye when I'm checking out and tell them I appreciate the work they're doing. It's a small thing but I try to be kind and appreciative each time .

The loaded told me one was ready but the other would be 24 hours, again they would call. I called back well after the 24 hours and again I was told the one was ready but they still haven't filled the other one. We will call you in a couple hours..... 5 hours later still no call. Called again still no update. Finally I just went there and lo and behold the one I was waiting for was ready! Great right! Nope, that's when they told me the first prescription wasn't filled and they don't even have it!!!! I asked why I was told it was ready every time I called and just stared at me. At least I wasn't like the other person who told to drive all the way to the Orange Grove location from the east side at rush hour to pick up her medicine only to be told it was at the Houghton location. This place needs to get there act together
