I had to transfer several prescriptions from my compounding pharmacy in Virginia and they took care of everything! They even made my compounds better by dosing them differently which meant less cost to me (as insurance doesn't cover them) and less to apply (they are skin creams). Whoot whoot! Then tells them to leave and find someone else to pickup at closing (7 pm) as if sick patients have the energy to play this game. Blames it on their pharmacy license because they don't have enough licensed employees to counsel patients at car. But if you come back at 7 pm, "maybe we can accommodate". Supper nice info for my 80 year old family member with COVID. In the time you could explain your no -policy, you could have completed the counseling. We're 2.5 years into this pandemic. Do better. Tell patients the truth on the phone instead of asking them to come in, then leave with active COVID. Tell them you don't care (the truth) and they should transfer the script elsewhere (sage advice).

I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.

It is impersonal; but what is worse is that it is incredibly more delayed than it was before. The multitasking is not saving anybody any time . This was a horrible change to make, and I hope they aren't thinking of doing this at their other locations.

Walgreens would not let me fill it one month at a time. Walmart had no issue with doing this.
