He has great advice every time I need to go in on any of my medical issues and he really seems like he wants to give back to the community as well. I also learned that Healthmax is part of a larger Pharmacy group or something like that to where they can get their prescriptions at the same price as a lot of the larger pharmacies. So, even though they might be a private Pharmacy, their prices are still competitive with the big box store pharmacies. All in all this is a great business and I think they are an asset to the community. I also believe they do special compounding medications that many pharmacies cannot do. I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.

There was no reason for them to be as rude as they were to me and one girl waved her hand and told me to go on. I only went back into question why the shot was not injecting and told them that I thought it was frozen. There was absolutely no reason to lie to me and be so rude to me.

They treated me as a human being, rather than just "another patient" as is so common today. However, when I called them to get an important medical document, they left me a voicemail saying that they could not get it for me. Totally fine. I get it. But, I have since called back twice and left two separate messages with specific questions requesting a call back, and I have not received a call. That is completely unprofessional. You don't ignore your patients for weeks on end. That is just so wrong. Very disappointing, I really thought I found a clinic that had my best interest in mind.
