What makes it even more ridiculous is that I already completed the online check-in the day before. Yet when I finally got to the desk, I still had to hand over my driver's license and insurance card and verbally verify all the same information that was supposedly completed online. So what exactly is the point of online check-in if patients still have to redo everything at the front desk? Standing in a crowded waiting room line for over half an hour when you're not feeling well isn't a great first impression. The process feels extremely inefficient and defeats the entire purpose of offering online registration in the first place. Hopefully the medical care is better than the check-in process, but based on the first experience, the front-end system definitely needs some serious improvement.

For the first time, we felt heard -- and hopeful. His work has genuinely changed our lives. If you or someone you love is dealing with trigeminal neuralgia, don't wait. Dr. Morgan and the team at Howell Allen Clinic are professional, thoughtful, and exceptionally skilled. The level of care and precision they bring is rare, and we are deeply grateful.

Then I tried again and heard back and they told me for the neurofeedback I was interested in someone else would contact me, but they never did. A year later I tried again and I finally got someone to call me after reaching out multiple times and they said they don't take insurance, which is not what it seemed to say on their website. Overall I got bad vibes from them and so I'm leaving this review just to let them know that you lost a client before you even had them by being very bad at following up and very unclear and unforthright in your costs. Meanwhile other TMS and neurfeedback clinics in Nashville got back to me in 1 day. The only reason I tried to give this one a chance is because it was a closer drive, but it's just not worth it.

Out of the blue, they informed me that I owed a large balance for 2 office visits, when I've never had this issue previously- the VA handled it all. NBI said there was an authorization issue that I needed to rectify. No. They wanted me to do their job for them. Again, horrible. They left me without a provider while I was in a mental health crisis and needed immediate help. As a veteran with severe PTSD, this is completely unacceptable and it was hard to navigate. After finally getting answers and forwarding to NBI billing, I didn't hear back for 2 months. THEN they say I still owe the balance, and I need to rectify- again. After getting in touch with the VA, I've learned that the reason they dropped me as a patient is because they were frustrated that they could not LEGALLY charge veterans for services rendered. Absolutely awful experience, and I'm still getting threats for my balance to go to collections. Absolutely lazy and incompetent employees with the worst customer service!

Greetings to all, My…read moreexperience has been the opposite of the gentleman in the above review, I regret very much what does sound like a nightmare experience. My son has MoyaMoya disease that has required two brain surgeries by Dr. Mericle and his staff, and both times it went well. And associated tests went well too. We have been to the office and hospital about 6 times for different services and have always been happy with the doctors and the office personnel. We are fortunate to have Dr. Mericle here in Nashville, and to serve patients from around the U.S. charles coryn, lancing, tn.

It is impossible to communicate with anyone in the office. They do not answer the phone, and it does not roll to voicemail. There is only one contact number, no email address or any way to get in touch with them when the phone does not work! The last time I actually got through after FIVE attempts, I told them, and they agreed it was broken, but a month later, it is still not fixed. They are dealing with patients in excruciating pain and can't answer the phone?? We never saw the doctor. We saw the PA, which is fine, but we were not told to expect this. She was going to call us after MRI, and someone much less knowledgable did and we were unclear what the next steps were. They took forever to set up the referral for treatment. The most horrific problem we had was when they referred us to a different doctor for treatment, they sent the records for a DIFFERENT PATIENT over. So they were calling and sending paperwork to the wrong person. We never got any follow up calls. After the treatment was not effective, I called to discuss options and was told a nurse would call back. Nothing. Really it is unbelievable the lacking concern of any doctor office we have tried here in Nashville. But this was definitely the worst. We selected this doctor due to the large number of 5 star reviews on all the health review sites. Our experience was NOT good. (Also, they do not have online payment option like all the other doctor offices we have seen lately. Can't pay online, can't get through on the phone, can't pay while in the office. I don't mail checks.)
