I have been diagnosed with several bone and joint related problems in my back that need surgery. I…read more previously had a lumbar laminectomy to help minimize pain. That surgery was performed by a surgeon in Las Vegas. That surgery was considered a minimally invasive surgery. However, it took me nearly 5 months to heal enough to return to work without significant pain. The bigger issue was that I had more issues post surgery than I did before. I developed numbness in both legs and down to my feet as well as having strong shocks down my legs. I was referred to Dr. Arthur Ulm to help me with this issue. He agreed I wad a candidate for surgery given the symptoms I was presenting. I had surgery 4 weeks ago, and feel like a million bucks! He did an amazing job! Not only do I have relief from the aches and pains of joint issues, but the shocks going down my legs to my feet are gone! I haven't had this much pain and discomfort relief in over 8 years. He knows what he's doing for sure. His staff was attentive and helpful to me and my wife. He was very communicative and prepared. I felt very comfortable gabbing this work done under his charge. I would recommend him for anyone asking about him. Very happy with the result!

What makes it even more ridiculous is that I already completed the online check-in the day before. Yet when I finally got to the desk, I still had to hand over my driver's license and insurance card and verbally verify all the same information that was supposedly completed online. So what exactly is the point of online check-in if patients still have to redo everything at the front desk? Standing in a crowded waiting room line for over half an hour when you're not feeling well isn't a great first impression. The process feels extremely inefficient and defeats the entire purpose of offering online registration in the first place. Hopefully the medical care is better than the check-in process, but based on the first experience, the front-end system definitely needs some serious improvement.

Overall I got bad vibes from them and so I'm leaving this review just to let them know that you lost a client before you even had them by being very bad at following up and very unclear and unforthright in your costs. Meanwhile other TMS and neurfeedback clinics in Nashville got back to me in 1 day. The only reason I tried to give this one a chance is because it was a closer drive, but it's just not worth it.

They left me without a provider while I was in a mental health crisis and needed immediate help. As a veteran with severe PTSD, this is completely unacceptable and it was hard to navigate. After finally getting answers and forwarding to NBI billing, I didn't hear back for 2 months. THEN they say I still owe the balance, and I need to rectify- again. After getting in touch with the VA, I've learned that the reason they dropped me as a patient is because they were frustrated that they could not LEGALLY charge veterans for services rendered. Absolutely awful experience, and I'm still getting threats for my balance to go to collections. Absolutely lazy and incompetent employees with the worst customer service!

After 2 CT Scans, fevers, and elevated white blood count she was diagnosed with the Noris Virus. Which was the wrong diagnosis. We went home to Houston after she was released and went directly to the hospital and after running there own CT scan and blood work they found her colon to be clogged and needs antibiotics and a colonoscopy. Do not bring your loves one here it was the worst experience. I questioned why she kept getting fevers and her blood count increasing and they couldn't give us a straight answer.

The most horrific problem we had was when they referred us to a different doctor for treatment, they sent the records for a DIFFERENT PATIENT over. So they were calling and sending paperwork to the wrong person. We never got any follow up calls. After the treatment was not effective, I called to discuss options and was told a nurse would call back. Nothing. Really it is unbelievable the lacking concern of any doctor office we have tried here in Nashville. But this was definitely the worst. My mother had cataract in 1964 and lost vision in her eye as a result of that surgery so I had some anxiety even though I know there has been so much improvement in cataract since then. I put it off for a long time but finally had to have the cataract surgery. I did some thorough checking around and came up with Dr Shieh. Happy I did.
