This store has gone down hill . Used to be very nice . Get some cashiers that ring the groceries up . I am taking a break from Walmart . If I'm gonna spend money on non essential things in this economy, I expect quality . Secondly , you are a huge corporation , get some live cashiers . I don't want to ring up and bag my groceries. Upgrading my rating for because I know the struggle of being human. Thank you. ---- Pharmacy tells patients with COVID to come in to get scripts. Then tells them to leave and find someone else to pickup at closing (7 pm) as if sick patients have the energy to play this game. Blames it on their pharmacy license because they don't have enough licensed employees to counsel patients at car. But if you come back at 7 pm, "maybe we can accommodate". Supper nice info for my 80 year old family member with COVID. In the time you could explain your no -policy, you could have completed the counseling. We're 2.5 years into this pandemic. Do better. Tell patients the truth on the phone instead of asking them to come in, then leave with active COVID. Tell them you don't care (the truth) and they should transfer the script elsewhere (sage advice). read more

Let me begin with this: this review is not of the store. The store, pharmacy, and the Subway are wonderful - very clean, friendly, they are one of the best WalMart's I have ever been in. Unlike many WalMart's the people ask how they can help you. There are a few that cannot seem to be bothered, but 95% of the employees are helpful. My review is in reference to the oil change center. I pulled my husband's vehicle up to be serviced, I was told "move it over there," with a less than patient gesture. I should have told them to go scratch then. I then walked up, to which another pointing finger, and a "go in that door." Again, my bad, should've turned around and walked away. We stand and we wait, and we wait, finally a kind elderly gentleman takes our info, this takes 15 minutes. This really didn't bother me, I'd rather get it right the first time. My youngest son and I went in, no other vehicles were there. We walked the entire WalMart to come and sit for an additional hour. Twice the men walked by, no eye contact, no nothing, nice. I'm thinking, crap, I should have left when I had the chance. We finally get called, no apologies, I pay, and as I am signing I ask what took so long. The young man says we had several cars in front of you. Now, I can understand just about anything, but a lie is not one of them. I told him I thought he had to go to Saudi Arabia to find our oil, and that if he had molasses shoved into his nether regions he couldn't have gone any slower if he tried. I've not noticed anything "wrong" yet with my husband's vehicle. He does drive to Nashville from Fairview everyday, to which I pray nothing does go wrong. My advice? Take your vehicle elsewhere. They do not seem to know how to do their jobs in the oil change/tire department of WalMart in Fairview... but, hey, what do I know. I'm the fool that sat there for over an hour. Pay attention to those red flags. read more

Came there on a Sunday afternoon to get tires for my car. It look real busy I figured be a good time to do it. Two people in front of me one just after me. 2 1/2 hours later they got to go after me and asked me when mine will be next and all the text stated including cashier time for us to go to lunch we're gone. I'm fed up with being eyeballed because your "double bagging" your milk or anything for that matter. That's bad enough but when you go to return something with receipt in hand why we get treated like thieves. They look at you like your trying to get one over on them. Like a broken nail polish bottle, I didn't notice it was cracked till I got home, I had a little "paint" on my hand and thought I had gotten ink on my hand not realizing it was the nail polish and my mattress topper I just bought was opened, the bag they come in, someone had either felt of it in store or at home but I didn't know who it was therefore I returned it, and I was treated like I used it. I purchased it on one day and came back the very next. It was a $48 mattress topper. If I was going to try and get something for nothing it sure wouldn't be a mattress topper. I spent $677 in total on my debit card to only bring back the open and broken product. There wasn't another mattress topper like I returned so I upgraded to the $144.00 topper. What happened to customer service? That left when all the cashiers did it seemed. And being forced to checking ourselves out because lack of actual workers, there should be a discount at the end of a self checkout. Your prices definitely aren't cheaper than others. read more

Bree is a wonderful employee in the Pharmacy that schedules Covid19 vaccines over the phone. She and the employees that give the shots are great. It was a pleasure to deal with Bree and the other employees. read more

My beef is with a manager that stated out loud she had employees that needed a break but would not send them because she didn't want to run a register. Hmmm seems like you think your too good, or are you just lazy. How did you get to be a manager if you are not willing to do your job. Suck it up buttercup and do what is needed when it's needed.. it's just a title being a manager not going to hurt you at all to give an employee who has been there for 3 hours straight a break. read more

I have the option of going to Walmarts in Nashville or going to the Fairview store. For me, the distance is the same and I choose Fairview every time. This is the friendliest Walmart I've ever been to. The times that I have had issues, they were quickly resolved by management. read more

Check your car after oil changes here...they did not put the motor oil cap back in and I only found out on the next oil change ... also, the filter they use is the cheapest in the market. My motor makes a noise every time I turn on... very unsatisfied and will not be taking my car back for oil changes anymore read more

Review is of the woman running electronics counter. I called in on Friday about the Black Friday iPhone deal and was told they had an appointments system and couldn't take walk-ins until Saturday. I called Saturday morning and an employee told me that they had the phone. Asked if now was a good time to come in and he said yes, so I drove 45 min to the store from Spring Hill. When I got to the counter and asked about the phone, the woman (wasn't wearing her nametag) immediately took a negative tone and told me "I was standing right next to him when he called, he did not say to come in." She voluntarily called the employee over and asked if he had told me to come in and he said yes. So she disappears for five minutes and comes out with apparently someone higher up who was also not wearing a nametag. They told me I needed an appointment and that they couldn't make one for me since a third party fulfills the appointment. I insist that their employee told me to come in and said they could do this, but they just say "he doesn't really work this counter, he just covers sometimes." They tell me there's nothing they can do, so I suggest that they take down my number and have their third party call me when appointments are through. For some reason they can't even guarantee that. I insist that they take down my number and give it to her and she says "I'll do my best." Never a hint of an apology, never a hint that any corrective action will be taken, and of course, never a hint of any compensatory action - even though I now have driven an hour and a half for nothing because I took their employee's word on good faith. It's really not that hard. I'll edit this review if anything changes, but this is Walmart so you know just how likely that is. read more

Never had any problems at this store until today. I called yesterday and ordered two tires since they weren't in stock. I gave all my information and was assured that they would be delivered in the morning. After not hearing anything in the morning I called and they said sorry no one ordered any tires from this location. I have the calls logged on my phone from the previous day. I guess lesson learned get the persons name next time. Won't be buying tires from Walmart again read more

Clean store. Pretty good about keeping enough lines open so you don't stand in line forever! The only suggestion is to keep some empty buggies near registers so we can use them when refilling as we check out. read more

I have not used the oil change place that is in the bad reviews but felt I must say for the employees at the store, customer service and self check out...they are some of the nicest Walmart employees I have seen anywhere. I live in Nashville but drive the extra miles to shop at the Fairview Walmart for that very reason. Yes there are a few that act like they are not wanting to be bothered instead of trying to help, but that is at any place this large. most of these are local people that remember their customers and have a kind word every time I go in, I just wish all the WalMarts were this nice. read more
