There was also a corner section of the store dedicated to books. As for other items, I also saw a small number of shoulder bags, shoes and some costume jewelry. It didn't take me long to peruse the various sections of the store. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything I was interested in buying. Even the $1 clothing rack didn't have anything I wanted. This was my first time here, so I don't have any idea of what kind of fun items have been found here. I don't know if the store is picked over or if this is the usual type of selection available. All I know is that I didn't find anything during this particular visit. It wasn't the best thrift store I've seen but it also wasn't the worst. If you're in the area and like thrifting, you might get lucky and make a random find here.

I first tried shopping here when it was actually owned by Cliff. Cliff was a very nice owner and had a very nice store but the clothing selection was not MY style. There were the standard men's suits, standard men's jeans, and the store really catered to more "conservative" styles. Nice quality and nice clothes, just not my style. Last month I had nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon and saw they were open. Having visited another local clothing store I admire, but having found nothing, I decided to stop in. Am I ever glad I did. Dave has expanded his selection significantly - he still carries traditional clothing lines but has added fashion forward shoes, suits, shirts, socks.... everything! I was impressed that he brought in Sean John, Robert Graham, etc. I couldn't resist picking up a new sports jacket and some red striped socks. Of course tailoring is included. Are you a traditionalist? Conservative? Cutting edge? Laid back? Are you a man? Then you can shop here. Interestingly I saw what appeared to be a woman's jacket and had to ask about it (I might be fashion forward but that would be going too far for me). Dave explained that yes, he is now carrying some higher end women's jackets. After all, a lot of men shop with their wives or girlfriends, so he thought the ladies could also look at something while they were there. NICE! It's very humbling & gratifying supporting this small business. We've so far bought a bedroom set, some book shelves for our photo albums & recently a new mattress for the bedroom set. We were looking at the regular thick mattress & Calvin showed us a memory foam hemp mattress & we ended up buying it. What an improvement to our sleep. It's fairly firm which I got use to really easy & I barely feel my wife move in the night. If you want quality furniture & a friendly atmosphere go to Border City Furniture, you won't regret it.

The ingredients and bread were fresh, and the food was well prepared. The dessert snacks were also quite good. Unfortunately, the delivery was almost an hour late and they didn't have a good explanation as to what happened. I called at 11:00 this morning to pay for the 10 lunches that were ordered yesterday, so I don't see how our 11:45 delivery was forgotten. I would go back for the food, but if I use the for catering I would call to confirm the day of the delivery.
