If you dare ask for help finding a product or price you're likely to get attitude for asking them to do their job. It is not uncommon to wait more than 20 minutes in line because only 2 or 3 cashes are open and goid luck getting a cart as most time no one brings them into the store. I understand that in many cases they are the only store in town selling what you need at a reasonable price. So my recommendation is to only go there when absolutely required and to go early in the morning when they aren't as busy.

This store is your standard Walmart store located on the right just as you enter Vegreville from…read moreHighway 16 from the west. The parking lot is large with a few other stores nearby. Just like all Walmarts, there is a McDonald's inside. The store has a deli and bakery section. The fruit and vegetable section looks very clean. Aisles are wide so two carts can pass each other. The prices are great and the shelves are well stocked. The craft section always has clearance items for cheap prices. You can get everything here from groceries, health and beauty, housewares, pharmacy needs, electronics, automotive supplies, and a seasonal section. I have been here several times in the evening and noticed it's not very busy. The cashiers are friendly and very efficient. Be sure to bring your own recycling bags as Walmart now charges 5 cents per bag up to 10 bags.
