I won't sugar coat it, but this walmart has gone down hill over the years. I have gone to this location since I was a kid. It was tolerable a few years ago, but with closure of the walmart near Craig, and general increase in population around you can see the decline of the location. The long lines, and employee general dislike for their jobs adds to the lack of enthusiasm when I go to this location. You won't see alot of the employees in a rush to service you because there is always 100 customers behind you wanting something, and I am sympathetic to that. I give two stars because it has what I need, and sometimes I will interact with a helpful employee. Overall, this is the most populated location, so get in and out as quickly as possible. read more

we stopped at Wal Mart to look for a shirt for my son. My two boys are autistic and saw that she sports cards were being re- stocked. There was a boundary around the lady stocking. We were outside the boundary, patiently watching. We were told to move to another area. We moved, and again were told that we needed to relocate to a certain place, possibly assuming we were waiting to buy. We were only looking, again, not near the stocker. My younger son was devastated, which is a daunting situation We finally left as it was obvious that the arbitrary rules are more relevant to the employees than the customers that put them there. Our family has always shopped here, but after this, everything will be different. It was the worst experience of my life. I decided to buy a cell phone on walmart.com. FOR FIRST TIME, AND OF COURSE LAST TIME TOO... The seller is supposedly associated with Walmart, thast what walmart says! I don't believe anything they say anymore. I bought an iPhone 15 Pro and paid over $600 for it, but this seller, sent me a phone that was very different from an iPhone Pro That i Buy, and paid for. He send Me a very diferent phone and broken, that phone doesnt costs no more than $20. It didn't work because the screen was broken, and when I checked the IMEI number, it had an unpaid bill balance. But the worst part is that I contacted Walmart Returns, and this is the FIFTH TIME I've contacted them, and the FIRST TIME they told me they would refund my money without returning the product because it's not what I bought. Of course, I have proof of everything. 12 days passed, and nothing. I called back a SECOND TIME to see what was happening with my refund, and they apologized profusely and told me to wait another 24 to 48 hours. Four days passed and nothing happened. I called a THIRD TIME, and this time they told me no, that I had to return the product for a refund, which was already in the trash. I went to take it out of the trash, and they told me they would send me a barcode to return it to the store. I said OK, I went to the store with the barcode to return it, and it said non-returnable, I couldn't return it, so I called again, for the FOURTH TIME, and they told me the same thing as always, sorry, we don't know what happened, I'll make you a new barcode to return it. Well, I did, and to my surprise, the same thing happened again. The product cannot be returned non-returnable item.... The lady in the store showed me the screen, which said exactly that... So I called customer service return items again, for the FIFTH TIME. This time, a young lady answered. I told her what was happening again, but this time I was already very upset about the whole situatiion. The young lady put me on hold and then a supervisor answered. He told me the same old blah, blah, blah, that they used for excuses, then he told me he was taking care of my situation, if i can wait 24 to 48 hours again, hes going to be in contact with me in that time, i say I should wait 24 to 48 hours and they would contact the seller, and at this point, I'm still waiting. AN NO SOLUTION TO MY CASE. Walmart.com doesn't care about its customers. I think they are in cahoots with those corrupt and lying sellers to get their part of the profits, and we're the ones who get screwed. because i was talking with other persons at the store the that days, they have the same problem like me, when try to return items, I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM WALMART.com. You could lose your time, and your money. BE CAREFUL... This Walmart is by far one of the most terrible Walmarts I have ever been to. The parking lot is a joke (mainly the pickup area), there is ALWAYS super sketchy people in and around this location because it's in a high crime area, about 78% of the cashiers have attitudes all of the time, the bathrooms are so gross they are vomit worthy, everything is extremely cluttered and disorganized, the isles are alway filthy, not to mention the checkout lines that wrap around the store 37x. Yes, it smells how it looks. The garden department is peaceful though. Oh, also, start discounting those taped up blankets. No one wants to pay full price for something that is a return item. read more

Worst Walmart in the valley and it just so happens to be the new Walmart closest to me. This store needs more security. It's a highly trafficked store and hundreds going in and out every hour. The store felt stuffy. The lines were long. Three things in the middle of all the aisles making it hard to walk through. There are not employees anywhere in site. Honestly I don't like coming to this Walmart but i was passing by. There's a mood to everyone it seems like. Guest service is rude. Mark over in sporting goods and hardware is rude too. He definitely does not work well under pressure and cannot handle all the questions from guest. Instead of politely saying, give me a moment I'll be right with you, he blurts out, I have people in sporting a good, so you know what you want (in the paint department) and just walking away from people. He was pretty rude to me as well. I politely asked, excused me sir when you get a chance do you think you can call someone to help me and his responses, do you not see my sweater in my hand? My daughter and I went to the Walmart on Tropicana yesterday , late afternoon , I am partially disabled and often depend on the electric carts to do my shopping , I got there yesterday and was told that they do not have any available. so I had to leave which was disappointing and go do my shopping at Smiths that always have the electric carts available and are always helpful. Not to mention the reason I rarely shop in Walmart always seems to be locked up and the wait to get things like a pain reliver,Tylenol / Advil or even other basic needs takes 4 ever . Came here to return an item. I had no issues. I was in line for not even 5 minutes which is perfect. I remember coming here years ago and the line for customer service was ridiculous but they have gotten way better. The public bathrooms here are not so terrible like with some other Walmart location. It is very well stocked with plenty of everything. It's not overcrowded however I needed to 20 minutes on the cash register. That is really long! During the day the place is overcrowded and 20 minutes could be an average time to wait. But when you are shopping at night time and there is barely a client and this timing is unspeakable. If you need to ask for something - just forget about it. The staff barely speaks English. A week ago I needed information about products that were announced on promotion. The staff was not in a great help. A manager comes. AVOID Walmart deliveries. It's just not worth the trouble. Ordered a solar pool cover on line from Walmart. Walmart used FedEx for delivery from Chicago to my home in Las Vegas. Way past the delivery date, the package is sitting in FedEx's warehouse in Henderson for 12 days and no one at Walmart nor FedEx can tell me if and when the package will be delivered. The people at Walmart did nothing but spew bullshit reasons why it isn't delivered. (like the weather between here and Henderson - are they serious ?) Any line of bullshit they can think of. I don't often write negative reviews at Yelp but, when I do (and again, it is extremely rare....), it generally is because a business deserves it. This particular Walmart in Las Vegas deserves the distinction of being THE WORST of all the Walmart Stores in Las Vegas. Strangely enough, you would think I would write a negative review because of the lack of professional customer service (there are actually very good customer service workers at this particular Walmart), the store's appearance (it's actually very clean considering the remodeling they're doing), the parking (about the same as any other Walmart), no it's none of these things. So why have I given this particular Walmart Store such a poor rating you might ask? Well, it's because almost every item i had on my list to purchase required an employee to unlock the glass cabinet it was in!!! It took so long to get my shopping done which ate up a ton of time!! Who needs that? Apparently, this Walmart is in a "high crime" neighborhood (there was an all out "shoot em' up, bang bang" five years or so ago at this Walmart which resulted in the deaths of several Police Officers as well as the shooter..) and has need of just about everything (razor blades, personal lubricant, contact lens fluid, men's t-shirts) being under lock and key!! In closing, I would recommend that if you are a busy person (and who isn't) and you have to shop Walmart in Las Vegas (as many of us do....), seriously, try another location in the Valley. This Walmart is truly horrible compared to other W Stores (and that ain't sayin' much....). Your best best, is the Walmart on Tropicana Ave. following that, either the one on Eastern Ave. or on Marks St. in Henderson, Nevada. Stay completely away from the Walmart Store on 201 N. This morning I looked on Walmart.com to find a bike for my daughter birthday and saw these 2 for $39.00 I took my lunch break to head up there as soon as they open to get it. Spoke to two different store reps, then a rep who I guess puts the bikes together said he didn't have it, I asked for a supervisor. Mandy then comes over looks up the same bike on the same website and say they only have one but doesn't know where it is. I explained to her I want to purchase it and she then says they don't have it. Ok well as a customer and for your false advertising can you give me one of these for the same price? She said no with an attitude and said there not even the same bikes. Ok so what are you going to do to fix this issue then.. Mandy told me to call 1-800-Walmart and deal with them, WOW!!! While I'd heard terrible things about this Walmart , I happened to be in the area and needed baby formula. If you find yourself even near this Walmart RUNNN!!! Don't stop, don't enter the parking lot , don't dare walk in. I stopped in for a quick item , I was in the process of checking out when the $5 off manufacturer's coupon I presented wasn't scanning . The young man ringing me up was awesome , the check scanner wasn't working properly . He called his supervisor - I believe her name is Osoko or Omeka) for assistance . She didn't know how to work the machine (the coupon specifically states "Retailer: process coupon as check", you think this would be self explanatory) . Instead of saying that , she says "you'll need to call the issuer and get a real coupon. Sorry." ........... You've got to be kidding me . I asked for her manager , an older lady greets me after about 5 minutes , apologizes for my wait , clears all the errors from the machine (which is why the reader wasn't working) and runs my coupon through with no issue . THIS is what management should do . I was profiled simply because I presented a coupon for baby formula . Not only will I NEVER return to this store, I'll never shop at another Walmart and I will send a letter to corporate to advise them of the piss poor excuse of a "supervisor" this woman was .
