It's not really an outlet mall,…read moresince a lot of the stores are just regular stores selling the latest season at the same prices as at a regular mall. The layout is like an outlet mall in that it's a plaza and you have to go outside to go from store to store (it's not an enclosed shopping mall). The majority of the stores are also not all that interesting to me, but hey I shop everywhere just in case there is some really cool thing just waiting to be discovered, lol. They have lots of athletic stores like Adidas, Puma, Columbia, Reebok and Bench. They have women's fashions (stores I generally like, but the prices are not cheaper than at their retail stores): Laura, Melanie Lyne, Ricki's, and La Vie en Rose. They have unisex fashions: Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's and Roots. They have other stores like Carter's/Osh Kosh, George Richards Big and Tall, Stokes, Paderno and Magnotta Winery. The only store that is truly an outlet is the Designer Fashion Exchange, which is an outlet for TanJay, ALIA and Nygard. It is huge, so if you like these brands, you will likely find some good deals. When I was there last, they had clearance items 5 for $25, and black dress pants for $3.99. There's lots of free parking and it's conveniently located right off the 401. If you go to King's Crossing and are hungry, I recommend eating at Fardella's. It's great. I wrote a separate review for it :)

They have a refrigerated selection of mini sparkling wine in cans that were priced reasonably and handy to purchase to go they also tasted great. Customer service in the Designer Fashion Exchange store was non existent. Laura, Levis, George Richards, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Carters and a Stokes are pretty much all the stores still open. Reebok has closed. Stokes was having a liquidation sales so their days may be numbered. Definitely a passing by and stop type place as opposed to a destination. Lots of food choices nearby, Panera, Swiss Chalet and Boston Pizza to name a few..

I ordered three pairs of shoes online after having register a few months ago in the store for the…read morerewards program . Once my shoes were delivered I decided to order another pair online . It told me I would have to pay 11.34 for shipping because I was not a member . Although I am a member . I called the store and they said you have to register in store AND online . However when you look up under the FAQs it says register online OR in store not both. So now in order to get my points I have to drive 30 minutes and return the 3 pairs of shoes , return them and repurchase them and this will get me my points. Why is the in store and online system not linked and no one is being told they need to register both ways . Beyond frustrating .

Actually, aside from the fact that this is a very nice store, carrying some very expensive but well-made brand name shoes, the service that several of the sales staff provided to the above mentioned blind woman and (yes, true) her blind daughter who were out for some new shoes, was beautiful to watch. Kudos to Conrad, who dealt with us and the blind lady with humour and elan. So, for lots of sales staff for such a small store, for a great collection of shoes and for excellent service to all concerned -- 5/5!

I have been with Kendra since her business opened approximately 5 yrs ago. It's small, but pleasant…read moreand Kendra was quite professional Unfortunately, in the last year this has changed. The last time I went in for my appointment, I sat and listened to a newborn screaming for two hours and Kendra's rather large dog running around. It was chaos. Couldn't leave because I had foils in my hair. Paid and Left with headache. I am not paying good money for supposedly a quality salon to sit 2 chairs away from a screaming newborn for two hrs. Worst part was I received no apology. I gave Kendra a pass even though the experience was horrible. My foils that were done that day came out horrible. The colour was more yellow than blond. I rebooked to have the colour fixed. Did not go well. I was made to feel as if it was my fault and was told that was the colour she always used. Well it never looked yellow before. Instead of reassuring me that it could be fixed, Kendra was very impatient with me and took offence to me finally saying your my hairdresser tell me how we fix it. So things did not go well after that. I did however ask why no apology was given in respect to what happened at my last appointment and Kendra said "that's not me". That says it all. Very very disappointing to see what has happened to this salon.
