After shopping here almost exclusively for years, I started only doing limited shopping when they…read moreswitched to only self checkout. It's too much when you're checkout a whole cart of items. continues to go downhill. prices are no longer competitive. customer service is now nonexistent. Today I stopped to pick up a few things and when I went to check out was told I had to sign up for rewards membership to get the sale prices! Employee Didn't even offer to help or tell me how to sign up. Just said "you have to be a member to get that price". Nope!! I'm done. you've officially made it too much of a hassle to shop here. I'll take my business elsewhere. plenty of stores who still have cashiers and you don't have to jump thru hoops to get the advertised price!

Love me some Aldi, so of course I had to check this location out while traveling...just to see if…read morethey had any Aldi Finds my local stores ran out of, and they did! The store was clean, well stocked, neat and wow, were the aisles wide compared to my local stores. Also, this was the first Aldi I have been in that has self checkout. Since we only purchased one item, that was definitely appreciated! I'm glad to know that I don't have to rely on just Walmart when I'm in U.P., and especially in Iron Mountain. Whew! 26/2025

I am extremely disappointed in a certain staff member. As soon as I walk up to the ladies check out…read moreline, i am not greeted. I greet her and she says "card or cash". I knew exactly why she asked this, she didnt want to help me because if i was using my card i could have gone in the self checkout. She then asked the man behind me if he was using card or cash and he said card. SHE THEN REPLIES... "well the self checkouts are open" as he has a full cart of groceries. The man was very upset with her and they argued and she made it very awkward for me. I love aldi but I hope I dont see this older woman when I go there next. Her excuse was "well im new". This is not the way to treat customers. If they come up to your line, dont tell them to go somewhere else. RUDE

Like what do you want cause they don't pay me enough to talk to you and make your day better. She went above and beyond to help me as I asked if they were going to make anymore chicken for the evening, as they were out of pretty much everything. She didn't have to as it was kind of late but she did just for me and also threw in a fountain drink while I waited. It's nice to know that there are a few people in the younger generations that had a good upbringing and proper manners.

So this store is a good store, unless you win the lottery of certain amounts!…read moreI have won 6x on lottery but I won on 2 scratch offs in one day and they told me 1customer a day can only cash in 1 ticket per day and their other store doesn't sell the same tickets so I couldn't cash both tickets in one day! Today I won $200 on 1 scratch off and they said they were only allowed to give me 1/2 of my winnings because they weren't allowed to give more than $100 dollars in a day WTF so I had to buy almost $75.00 in other tickets and merch to collect my winnings! I'm going to check with the lottery commission on this practice and see if that's true!
