4/12 7:30pm Emily was awesome in a time where employees think you have to pay them for proper customer service or their attitude is pure crap. Like what do you want cause they don't pay me enough to talk to you and make your day better. She went above and beyond to help me as I asked if they were going to make anymore chicken for the evening, as they were out of pretty much everything. She didn't have to as it was kind of late but she did just for me and also threw in a fountain drink while I waited. It's nice to know that there are a few people in the younger generations that had a good upbringing and proper manners. read more

So this store is a good store, unless you win the lottery of certain amounts! I have won 6x on lottery but I won on 2 scratch offs in one day and they told me 1customer a day can only cash in 1 ticket per day and their other store doesn't sell the same tickets so I couldn't cash both tickets in one day! Today I won $200 on 1 scratch off and they said they were only allowed to give me 1/2 of my winnings because they weren't allowed to give more than $100 dollars in a day WTF so I had to buy almost $75.00 in other tickets and merch to collect my winnings! I'm going to check with the lottery commission on this practice and see if that's true! read more

Poor customer service. Told I had to wait an hour or so to get coffee creamer as the employee was busy texting on his phone. I questioned this as an hour is excessive yet I got the same reply in a less than pleasant tone. Also gas is 3.18 which is 14 cents more than Marquette this morning. read more

As a traveler for work through the area many times throughout the week I am disappointed seeing the condition of and management team at the Iron Mountain location. Each visit, I encounter a problem with my transaction and/or the customer in front of me having troubles. What frustrates me the most is the management that is nowhere to be found when situations like such arise. You can see the stress and frustration building among staff when such situations come into play. My recent visit the employee expressed how nonexistent the management was and went into detail about "Katie is never around and sits in the office most of her shift. During this time, it seemed to have been shift change, the young lady had one register open of which she was operating the best she could without any help, employees trying to finish their shifts and go home, she continued to call Katie for help but wasn't making any way. After about 15 minutes and a long line with one worker working and a frustrated gentleman to the right of me waiting for some help with the diesel pump I was paid up and wanted to use the restroom before I left. I didn't think It could get much worse given the first portion of my visit to the Iron Mountain store. The bathroom was atrocious, and the odor was just off! I walked into the handicap stall, and the garbage was over filling with things coming from it, toilet paper on the floor as if they were trying to reach for toilet paper within the dispenser but kept coming up short. I then went to the next stall to see it plugged with the plunger still in the bowl. I quickly washed my hands to see a mirror full of filth as if it hasn't been touched it a week. After this, I figure I will stop somewhere along the way to use their facilities as this was a truly unfortunate! As I made my way from the restrooms to exit It was still the same young girl at the register doing her best with yet another full line of traffic. I looked over and seen a young lady making her way to the register and says, "How's everything going love?" The young lady looked as if she was about to cry as she kept checking out customers. Having been here for a good 30 minutes my best guess was this was the manager, Katie. She then took a pen out of her hair and started writing in a notebook with a full line of people and walked away towards the restroom. I told the young lady to keep doing a great job and left with a sour taste in my mouth with how this convenience store is ran and felt a detailed review had to be made. I stopped a while ago and an employee asked if they could help me find something. I asked about dairy free coffee creamer but they didn't have any. I stopped again today and they do! Way to go! read more

For a convenience station, you can not go wrong. Great coffee, good sandwiches and reasonable prices on most of their products.
