It's too much when you're checkout a whole cart of items. continues to go downhill. prices are no longer competitive. customer service is now nonexistent. Today I stopped to pick up a few things and when I went to check out was told I had to sign up for rewards membership to get the sale prices! Employee Didn't even offer to help or tell me how to sign up. Just said "you have to be a member to get that price". Nope!! I'm done. you've officially made it too much of a hassle to shop here. I'll take my business elsewhere. plenty of stores who still have cashiers and you don't have to jump thru hoops to get the advertised price!

The store was clean, well stocked, neat and wow, were the aisles wide compared to my local stores. Also, this was the first Aldi I have been in that has self checkout. I knew exactly why she asked this, she didnt want to help me because if i was using my card i could have gone in the self checkout. She then asked the man behind me if he was using card or cash and he said card. SHE THEN REPLIES... "well the self checkouts are open" as he has a full cart of groceries. The man was very upset with her and they argued and she made it very awkward for me. I love aldi but I hope I dont see this older woman when I go there next. Her excuse was "well im new". This is not the way to treat customers. If they come up to your line, dont tell them to go somewhere else. RUDE
