I called them after hearing this news and asked why they never investigated my engine for a coolant leak and they said it was bc the coolant reservoir was full! Well duh! I filled it before I came!! I feel like they didn't believe what I was telling them and they just wanted me out of there, could it be bc I'm just a girl that doesn't know what she's talking about??? Don't waste your time here. I'm in more debt now with still a $10,000 car with a ruined engine.

***PLEASE READ*** I'm going to be as professional as…read morepossible here. I'd like to first state that I'm a very realistic person - and forgiving. I first had Eureka Tire install 4 barley used tires on my aluminum rims for my car. They were professional during this encounter and accomading. They did the job, I picked up the car. After leaving I realized I forgot to Inspect the lugs for replacement. I left the property and went straight to my Mechanics shop to ensure everything was done properly. The first problem we discovered (Just hours after leaving no gravel rds) The lugs were over tightened so badly, I had to stand and jump on my wrench to get them off. This isn't unusual with steel rims - but Aluminum alloy's should have a spec'd torq. So I broke all lugs lose except for one lug, which was badly stripped and so I left it. I proceeded to loosen the others and set them to Manufacture spec (90 foot lbs). A week later I blew a tire (unrelated), and had to roll into thankfully a nearby Tire shop. Unfortunately they didn't have the exact tire size, so we were going to rotate the blown (front driver) tire to the driver rear, but that stripped lug was stuck and he didn't want to make it worse. He offered an appointment to drill and tap ($50-100). I decided to return the car to Eureka after a few days of thinking - and tires losing air over a week - since they A. Over tightened them, which I fixed except the 1, and B. Put a stripped $2 lug back on the car. The person in charge politely apologized and one of the older gentleman (not professional or friendly) couldn't get it off using a downsized socket hammered on with a powerful impact. They decided to have me come back the nxt day (I live an hour away) and they would drill/tap or do whatever they had to. Unfortunately the owner happened to be there when I arrived the following day. I never would have guessed an owner treating me the way I was treated that day, and as well allowed his elderly employee belittle me for owning a VW TDI (Diesel) that had 244k (Just broken in/maintained with logs) miles on it - simply stating this should go to Volkswagen. I remained calm and just requested they break the nut free and ill be on my way. After taking further ridicule from the elderly gentlemen I became upset, but still professional. If a tire shop doesn't know how to remove a seized nut, something is wrong. Lazy. They proceeded to blame it on me, the other Tire shop as well, and the fact that it's VW. Prior to this my only proof of purchase was my bank transaction - apparently whomever did the install did not put my name on the receipt - but they did find it. Words were exchanged (Hour drive and time off work). I asked if an officer/lawyer needed involvement.. The OWNER pulled the car off of the rack and left my manual transmission in Neutral - and NO E-break... I noticed my car was rolling towards the highway (slowly thankfully) so I reached in and pulled the E-break. I asked the owner - is it standard procedure to leave a manual transmission car without a means to remaining still? He educated me that you NEVER use an E-break on a car no matter what. And also leaving it in gear was unnecessary.... His own younger employees agreed with me. You have to do one or the other - or both. He became enraged and kicked me out of his shop after asking for the warranty the shop provides. If it was a new employee or something I could have overlooked all of this. Even the lugs they removed on that final visit were not torqued, but instead impacted on a few lugs and was told "there, 90 foot lb"... Keep in mind the owner and the eldest gentlemen were belittling me, accusing me, and making me feel like crap when all I needed was some help with something I don't have the means to fix. My other lugs on that same rim became seized as well (moved down a dusty rd). So this helped them justify that it wasn't just the stripped one. Facts are this. No anti seize used (newbs), bad lugs not replaced & over torqued lugs. DO NOT EVER GO HERE.

We rented a Penske truck and trailer from these people and this was an absolutely negative and…read morenegligent experience from the get go. Truck and trailer NOT there when we arrived. We called them prior and we were given the number from the email given to us by Penske. We told them we would be there by 9:30am. Apparently this was the wrong number to call and the woman behind the counter was like, not my fault it's your fault you called the wrong number and it's corporate fault. In any Case the truck and trailer were not present. The woman then said, trucks on the way should be here in 17 minutes So we went and sat in the car to wait.... And wait. 45 minutes later she tells us the truck will be there in an hour or so... wait ,, what?? She just said 17 minutes 45 minutes prior so wth? She calls my husband who was quite angry and upset an Ass as she walks away. Nice customer service lady!! (NOT!!!)et me quickly interject that we had to get my husbands dad to our home in Florida ASAP while he was stabilized. We had to park up that 26 foot truck and car trailer and get him home within a certain window of time. Was not looking good. We went to lunch and even though my husband was teed off we called corporate Penske who was appalled by the woman's behavior and gave a partial refund. We picked up the truck and trailer and went immediately home to pack it up. Unfortunately we had to leave the next day as we did not have time at this point to get it done. On the drive down one of the truck tires blew... this is end of July in Indiana and unpleasantly hot. Truck will run only so long and we did not want to run out of gas. Was worried about dad and the heat. He was ok thank God. When the nice man came and changed the tire he looked at the other tire and said " that one will blow too so get that replaced where you stay tonight and stay close by." So after we settled in the hotel the people came to give us a new tire and looked at the trailer... said it was not roadworthy period. It would not make it through the mountains and they were surprised we had not been in an accident... Hold The Phone!!!! Does that mean no one inspected the equipment prior to us renting it?? Apparently this was the case. Totally Negligent. I hope Penske pulls their license with this group. And I hope no one ever suffers from any accidents because of their negligence.

We noticed a…read morepaint issue on the driver's side door and contacted Mike and Scott about this a week or so after our purchase. Both of them went above and beyond to take care of this for us. We dropped our vehicle off and were provided a loaner vehicle. Scott then offered for a driver to bring our Expedition back to WI for us and then picked up the loaner vehicle. Being over two hours away this was genuinely appreciated!! We also asked since they had our vehicle to do an oil change and Scott covered that for us at no cost. Yes, this vehicle was a large purchase but was still a used vehicle and most dealerships would have said, "you get what you get" because it's used. Riverside took care of the service to the door, the oil change, and the loaner...nothing came out of our pocket. We couldn't be happier with our OVERALL experience with Riverside Auto Iron Mountain. The entire buying experience went well, and they were very fair with our trade-in and made 2 hour drive up there very well worth it. Then to stand by their word and take care of the paint issue on the door and accommodate us like they did is almost unheard of. With all the dealerships in our area (i.e., Green Bay and Appleton) I can almost guarantee not one of them would have done this for us so highly recommend anyone to Riverside Auto Iron Mountain!! I typically do not write reviews but had to in this situation as just the buying experience alone was enough to give Scott and Mike 5 stars but then how they handled the repair service took it to a whole new level. We will continue to go to Riverside Auto Group for any of our future vehicle purchases even with them being hours away as their customer service and loyalty is the way all dealerships should be!! Thank you guys!!!
