We knew we wanted a beautiful place, intimate and where we could just show up. We researched top places for a small wedding and Rock city popped up in a top 20. After seeing the photos and being the only place with prices online, we called and they were able to meet us and show us the grounds the same day. First thing is first; not only does Vicki Green have a perfect name for her job but she also a perfect personality and love for what she does. Just walking around the garden with her and listening to her, we knew that she would be the perfect person to help us. Vicki helped us from start till literally the moment we got into our car, married. She helped with color ideas, made all the bouquets, boutonnières and corsages. She was there for the rehearsal and the day of. Helped with the music, escorting people to the bathroom and making sure people weren't walking into the bridal suite before I was ready. After the wedding she helped with making sure we had the best locations for photos. My day was stress free because of her. I honestly would not change a thing about that day. If you're on the fence, go and ask for Vicki! It was an hour away from our home, and I would have driven 2 hours.

Working here would seem more a labor of love, surrounded by constant flora and fauna. Turtles, ducks, dragonflies, spiders and lizards joined us in our experience. We're new in town and we're Shady Grove's newest fans for life…read more We got a pool put in and needed to re-sod parts of our yard. I called Gator Sod in Fellsmere, and told them that all I needed at present was enough sod to make the front yard look presentable, as we'd be putting a fence up in the back and landscaping anyway. ... Gator Sod quoted me $570 for 3 pallets of sod! I couldn't believe that a) we needed that much and b) that our small job could cost that much, so I called to confirm, told her I really just needed from the sidewalk to the corner of our house and she confirmed the quote. Not only that, but they arrived about 4 hours (and without calling) later than they said they would call and come for the estimate. That's where Shady Grove comes in! I called them and told them that we were in a pinch, needed sod within a few days (before our final inspection for the pool). That was yesterday afternoon. I'm pleased to say that it's 10am, and I have sod out front. They sent two guys to give us an estimate, and sent them with sod just in case ... as they knew we needed it rather quickly. The best part is, we paid $160 installed. The guys from Shady Grove were professional, quick, and just so wonderful. I told them about the $570 quote from Gator Sod and they said that even if they covered every single spot that needed new grass, it would still come in under $500 ... So. There you have it. Now, we'll be doing all our landscaping with Shady Grove. THANK YOU for the honest, quick, professional service!

The plants at the nursery are beautiful. The lady who greeted us, listened to us and talked "plants" with was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She said her boss was the one who would come out to our property, listen to our questions, study the property and provide us a design. I asked if he had pictures of the plants to show us and we could discuss. We made an appointment and also purchased a palm to be delivered. The palm was delivered but he cancelled our consultation. We tried again, but no luck. We really like what we see at VISION 43 but need some consultations and a plan before we are comfortable making such an investment.
