BE AWARE OF BLESSED PINE (WILL-OWNER)…read more My wife scheduled twice with Will (owner) @Blessed Pine to put down pine straw at our home. His crew NEVER showed up on both occasions! When my wife called NUMEROUS times to find out what was going on and why nobody showed up at our home, Will never picked up the phone & ALL of the calls went to voicemail each time. There were messages left, and no return call.. The calls are sometimes "screened " to see who is calling before Will decides whether to answer the call or NOT! POOR BUSINESS! That proved immensely helpful because I was overwhelmed the second my feet hit the dirt! A lovely lady, Rebecca, approached and asked how she could help. She was very happy that I brought the pot sizes as well as where I intended to place them (sun/shade). In no time at all I had a wagon full and with what my friends and I purchased, my trunk space was full. Pricing is a bit on the high side but honestly, the stock is beautiful, healthy and the variety is abundant. Add in the personal attention I received and it was money well spent because a multitude of choices were offered for the specific types of plants I needed. If I wasn't really liking something she suggested, we moved on. She was so helpful! On my next visit I will take some time to browse inside the store, they had some lovely gift ideas but time wasn't on my side at that point. Such a fun outing! (As for getting there, I-65 South was fine on the way there even though a significant stretch is under construction. The return was jammed so we came back on Hwy 31. While it took longer, there were no traffic delays.)

I'm not able to rate the quality of pine straw from this provider - they never delivered my order…read more I called on a Wednesday - after two calls, someone answered and promised the delivery guy would call back the same day or Friday. No calls until Monday, when I was finally able to place my order with the delivery driver. Late Monday, he called to say the truck had a flat and they'd deliver Tuesday afternoon. No calls on Tuesday. Late Wednesday, the driver called again with another excuse for not delivering. By this time, I had contacted another vendor and had a delivery of pine straw within hours. It doesn't matter how good the straw is, if you can't get it off the truck and to the customer. If 30 bales isn't a large enough order for this vendor to care about, I wish they would have said so up front and saved me a week of waiting.
