Now, with that being said, the lady who was working was very dry and didn't seem interested in helping us or didn't provide answers to our questions. I felt this way inside the store (and kept my thoughts to myself). When we left my son mentioned that he wanted to ask if they were hiring but he didn't think the lady felt like talking today, lol. In my opinion, this business was much better before they moved to the new location. We used to buy…read moretons of plants and décor here, and one of the best parts was talking with the older lady who really knew her plants and trees. Her knowledge and the friendly, small-town feel always kept us coming back, and the prices were fair. Now, with the new location, it feels more like a corporate operation. The small-town charm is gone, and so are the reasonable prices. Everything seems way overpriced, to the point where it feels like my wallet is being taken advantage of. I now find myself shopping at other nurseries where I can get a better deal and still receive good service. It's sad to see a local business that built a loyal following in town lose its character and affordability. Unfortunately, it feels like greed got the best of what once was a great place to shop.

This nursery isn't as popular as Greens or Calloways and I'm not sure they have as much variety, but they have some cool stuff you might not find elsewhere, like bonsai trees, orchids, a bigger selection of citrus plants, and other more ornamental shrubs and trees. It seems kind of hit or miss as far as being well-staffed, but I find the employees to be really kind and helpful when available! The grounds here can be pretty muddy and water hose-y, so take that into consideration when planning shoes and strollers!
