I rarely go there without finding some bargains though and their book section is cheap, cheap, cheap! The people working there are the greatest, very friendly. I went there a couple of weeks after my brain surgery (I was still pretty spastic and weak with poor balance) and the lady behind the counter insisted in helping me move a small table out to the car to make sure I didn't injure myself; very sweet. I'm pretty much hooked on the place and regularly visit when I'm in Corpus Christi.

Steph was my technician and she was super nice. She gave me all the oil change change options, knew what she was talking about, set me up in the Walmart system quick and painless, and she got me in and out quickly for a great price. It was a cool experience being able to shop while your car gets worked on. This Walmart has everything so there was plenty of things to look at. Of course I ended up spending some money while there. But truth be told sometimes I feel like Walmart is going to call security when I walk out the door because the deals are so good and cheap on some items I feel like I'm stealing from them. I didn't take many pics but I really enjoyed myself. I will definitely be back to the auto care center as well as rest of this store. But, I've experienced run-ins with a few strange people that work there. One, recently, wouldn't stop following me around. A lady followed me for over 20 minutes while I was shopping for dresses. She made me feel uncomfortable. She followed me as I shopped and told me her entire life story of how her Dad used to abuse her for acting like "kids these days. And kids these days get away with too much, a beating would straighten these kids up and that's what they need." so, she said. As for me, being an advocate against child abuse, the lady freaked me out. I was literally scared of her. I quickly left that department to escape the odd story tellings of her own acceptance of her father's abuse. Maybe Wal-Mart should offer their employees therapeutic services? Later on, I made sure she was gone and it was safe to go back to complete my shopping. Sux that I had to do that and never go back to Wal-Mart at night due to that incident. Overall, my favorite and the most impressive spot is still the Women's clothing - if I'm not followed or harassed by employees. For the past year, I have been finding lower priced summer dresses, cute ones and good items in clearance. It saves me from having to spend more on Amazon or Fashion Nova. I bought several dresses today for a little trip. I did like the style and fit, perfect for the weather lately.

Even a local library. I noticed a Gold's gym was busy, maybe some healthy shops for smoothies and even a rock climbing area would be a great addition.
