The bathrooms were clean, and the staff were keeping things stocked and clean. They also had some fresh cut fruit, which was a nice change of pace instead of regular junk food. They also usually have some type of hot food available, whether it's a restaurant that's part of it or a hot sandwich cold sandwich area.They have a consistent product. There's plenty of trucker services from showers to qas and parking that were adequate for the truckers and for cars. The quality of their gas is also always been good.And i've always been able to get high test whenever i've needed it.

They will go out of their way to make sure they help you, whether it is ordering a product you want or cooking you something special to eat. Gret's has a decent selection of drinks and food; they also have pizza and fast food such as burgers and sandwiches. During lunch, they usually have slices of pizza and the usual convenience store food in the hot box. You can get fuel here as well, although it will be on the pricey side as it is 100% gasoline with no ethanol. Inside is rather small and a bit crowded, but for a town with little options, this place will most likely have what you need.

On a storm chasing trip, I needed some hard candy to snack on. The Evetts Drug sign drew me in and I figured Id have no problem finding so candy. I found so much more. We actually walked out of there having spent over $50 and don't feel a bit bad about it. Evetts is very unique. They have the pharmacy as you'd expect, they have some really cool display cases with some nostalgic stuff that you used to find in small town drug stores. They have some hand made type stuff from local people, they have purses, they have nick-nacks, they have a whole aisle of cooking goods. Cook books, lamps, dishes, useful household goods, shirts, and on and on. They even sell memorial flowers, and they have a gift registry! I was amazed at all the useful stuff that one could find in this awesome small-town shop. I'm pretty sure they thanked us for stopping in 3-5 times and we're so polite and nice. And let me tell you how spotless this place was! With all those display cases and nick-nacks, I didn't see one speck of dust or one item that looked out of place. Everytime I go through Cordell from now on, I will make it a point to stop in and support this wonderful small town business. Maybe I'm nostalgic but I wish there were more places that still made a customer feel valued and welcome.

The store was surprisingly clean with a pretty good selection of both fountain and bottled drinks. They have snacks and hot food as well. There isn't anything super impressive about the selection, but for an emergency, it works. I have a big complaint, and I'm sure this will be super silly. Last year, my sister stopped here with me in the car during an emergency. I didn't know then where we were, but I verified it later. Anyway, they had Slush Puppies. Yes, the original Slush Puppies. For you youngsters, Slush Puppies were a staple in the late '80s and early '90s. Similar to Icee or Slurpee, they were unique because you squirt the syrup into the cup, then add the ice. It would blend perfectly. Was it magic? Was it sorcery? Who knows, it was just awesome, and the ice couldn't be beat in texture. Sadly, this location did away with them. It was the first time I had seen them since I was a kid and apparently I won't see them again any time soon. I'm so sad!!!
