I bought some frozen food, and due to my disability could not see the expiration date. It was circa 2023 which means it was sitting on the shelf about a year past expiration date. I bought it back to customer service and asked to speak to the manager who looked like she was highly upset that she was disturbed. The DISTURBING fact is that I had to mention that I was not offered an apology. The customer service employee then offered an apology the manager NEVER DID. I encourage everyone to be highly aware of the expiration date on any item purchased at this store and if necessary contract Health officials as the manager does not appear to be concerned about this issue

The shelves appeared well stocked, and the employees were friendly. One stood inside the grocery entrance disinfecting buggies for customers to shop. Probably the only drawback I observed: Few registers were open.

True, this is the only Walmart in the area,…read moreand this is the one place on town that consistently has a selection of certain types of food. However, this location never has enough checkers. The self checkout is great though, because there is enough space and systems to get people completed quickly. It's pretty hit or miss how the staff will be. They treat you like a criminal at the door leaving: they check your receipt. Depending on how you look, they go above and beyond and will even go through your bags versus just checking the large items. If you can't use self checkout, make sure you don't take the checker's word on your amount of bags. Twice now, I was told I didn't have another bag and found several items were left at the store (and calling doesn't do any good to recover the paid-for items). They seem to always be stocking. Even before the COVID crap. Sometimes it is quite a pain to get down the aisles. Generally though, the stockers are super friendly and will help you navigate around them. This location is what it is. I don't expect much from Walmart anyway, but this location has the bar set even lower.
