    This is a large Walmart store located in the mall. Store is a bit messy and there are few staff around. Prices are average. Surprisingly, there is a Burger King affiliated with this Walmart instead of the usual McDonald's.

    I like this Walmart! It's clean, organized, most of the staff are helpful specially Ivona and Tom. Produce is always fresh.

While all the SAs on duty that day said the right things, the actions did not match. The signs out in the store during covid-19 were insufficient in how the new shopping reality would be in the store. So my friend and I stepped into the store and were told by a staff from across the room to stay outside. Then we realized they were at capacity. That was fine but it would have been better if they had someone stationed at the entrance when at capacity to inform potential shoppers of that. Instead of shouting across the room. The fitting room was open. yay! You could try on clothes which would then be in a bin to be sanitized -- but the staff did not track those clothes/customers to be sanitized when customers tried them on at the rack itself so... Again the sign was not clear on the procedure. I was told by another customer at the fitting room I needed to wait for a staff before I could enter or go to a room. So it was a while before a staff came over. The staff also told the other customer her friend/relative (same household) could not be in the same room or area with her due to new covid-19 policy for safe distancing. The person had to wait in the fitting room exit area. New way to shop now -- rooms have to be sanitized before customers can use, and alternate rooms to be used. That was why the staff had to be there to let customers know which room to use. When my friend asked the younger staff about the pants I bought online previously, the staff had no idea what my friend was talking about. I tried to show her the item I bought from my order confirmation but the staff totally ignored that. Instead she just showed all the similar styles available based on the description my friend gave. I wanted to get another pair of capris as a back up to the current one I owned as it was really comfortable. I tried the one I saw on the rack but it felt different. So I showed and asked another staff where to get it. I was pointed to the same rack where I tried the capris. I just do not understand why the staff does not really take the time to really look at the SKU of the item and find it for customer. Other store's staff will do that and not here. When I got home and tried on my existing capris, I finally know what was the difference. The one in store which I tried was petite, what I bought was regular. So I have to go back to Reitmans (another store) to buy it now that I know what to look for.

I had agreat time in the fitting room and tried on some great peices that the salesperson recommended. It was like I was shopping with my girlfriend and didn't feel the pressure of sales, Honest opinion, and fast service. I will definitely go back!

I've walked by Tristan many times without looking inside - I thought the clothes would be for an age group older than mine, or too expensive. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted by a sales person as I immediately spotted and was drooling over a lambs wool blaser. I was excited to notice a large portion of their clothing is Canadian made. While I felt some of the designs were too mature for me, much was suited to a diverse range, very well made using fabulous materials. I managed to spot a lovely red cardigan on a sale rack, unfortunately they didn't have my size. They also had great classic dresses which were oh-so-Audrey, impeccably cut for a woman's figure, gorgeous fabric, and cheaper than the crap you find at Le Chateau. Prices borderline on moderate to much more than I typically spend, but the quality and timelessness is there which translates to great investment pieces. As a sweet marachino cherry on top the service was top notch! My MOA was to look in every store, think about items, return to the store for try on. One sales woman recognized me as coming back and was very sweet and helpful. I will definately come here!

I went in to ask a simple question about sleeve length (as most men's dress shirts indicate sleeve length - this one did not) and had to repeat the question 3 or 4 times as the sales associate(s) would try and answer before I had a chance to complete the question! (Listening skills, folks!) When they finally listened to the question and understood what I was asking, I had 3 sales associates trying to answer the question... too funny. (I was almost inspired to make a new joke: "How many sales associates does it take to...?"). It took about 10-15 minutes for them to grab a measuring tape and measure the sleeve length for me... Hmm. The staff is friendly enough I suppose (although the store has a bit of a "snooty" atmosphere) but it's like they operate on slow motion or something. I eventually purchased the shirt but had to return it as it wasn't suitable. During my return visit - again, service was in slow mo. The return process took forever... I might return as I did notice some really nice clothes. Some things were a bit pricey but the clothes seemed stylish yet classic/timeless and of high quality. If I do return, I'll remember to make sure I have lots of time to spare and to not bring my kids in with me as they will likely be waiting for-e-ver...

I went anyways on my mission for trousers which were at least passable. There was obviously some head office person touring the store as staff was very focussed on that. I got the greets and promo speech as I am sure they have mandated (which usually they most ignore if but for a hello). I ploughed for the rack, no after no after no, oops, I was talking to my self about "that is crap." Sorry Suzy Shier staff, I don't want to offen you in the store, you don't make it. I did spot some sale rack items (never pay full price there, ever, within weeks the item will be on sale), all redline merch was 50% off. I pulled a couple tops I'd eyed in the past, put a faux fur vest which looked cozy (I was cold yesterday, that influenced my purchasing behavior clearly). I stood at he fitting rooms a couple minutes until a staff member finally noticed and broke from the store tour to let me in a room. She was really friendly and confirmed the faux fur vest was 1. cute and 2. 50% off. The tops fit like utter shit (apologies for vulgarity, but no other word would describe exactly how poorly the fit was). The vest was cute, so I decided to $12.50 it was going to be mine. They had some cute shoes for super cheap, I also saw a few faux snake texture bags which were very inexpensive as well. All in all, the staff is good here, the sales are ridiculous, you just have to look in the chance you'll find something; but as a company their design team needs to learn about draping and design.

The moment I walked in the store, a sales associate approached me and this is what tumbled out of her face: "OHMYGODILOVETHATPURPLEONYOURSHIRT, IT'SLIKEALLUPINMYGRILL!" ....what? This was followed by: "OHMYGODITOTALLYLOVEYOURSHOESYOUSHOULDKEEPTHOSEONYOURFEETALLDAY!" ...seriously? Maybe I'm aging myself here, but when I worked in retail, a simple, polite greeting followed by a "what are you shopping for today?" or perhaps a "please let me know when I can assist you with something" or even "I like your shirt" (if you want to go the compliment route) etc was the appropriate way to initiate a conversation with a customer, not a diatribe of verbal diarhea littered with street slang no one understands.
