I am SHOCKED by the bad reviews others have left regarding the customer service at this shop!…read more I just went in for the first time this morning and was immediately greeted by two very sweet employees who asked if I needed help finding anything. I told them I was just going to look around and they kindly left me alone to browse. Picked out what I was looking for and a third super sweet lady rang me up. She genuinely thanked me for my business and said she's excited to see me again soon. They have a big selection of scrubs in all styles and colors, all sorts of accessories, and discounts for healthcare employees, plus very friendly staff. What more could you ask for? I think previous reviews absolutely do not represent the experience I had today and I'll gladly be returning to give them more of my business!

They have a stretch panel on the sides of the tops, so a woman can have curves without being unprofessional (i.e. you don't look like you're wearing a sack!). The pants also don't ride up when you sit down - HUGE plus! The women working give you an honest opinion - "You need to try one size up." "That looks great!" "Maybe you want to look at these instead?" They also realized when we were ordering that one of the women had picked up some petite pants without realizing it, which is how we'd all fit in this style though we range from 5'0 to 5'6! We had them embroidered. They're beautiful! We've received many compliments from our patients. It's a small shop with few employees, so it does occasionally suffer from too many customers coming in at once with too few employees to assist everyone.

But I think others should be aware before anyone books with Petals & Pastries. We booked with them for our wedding cake and our florals. The owner Brandi TEXTED me the MORNING of our wedding canceling my prepaid delivery from the Westbank to Ponchatoula because of the weather. The weather had not changed since the day before so she could have reached out to me the day before, but she didn't. She chose to text me the morning of our wedding 3 hours before she was supposed to deliver.

As I was leaving Pure Skin Care I saw this store and wasnt sure what to expect. I love the fact that they're a small local shop, but I found their prices the same as larger chain retailers! Plus, as I mentioned the owner was super friendly and helpful! I will be sure to return!

Perhaps growing up before electronic media took over nearly everything, I loved to visit newsstands. I am a frequent visitor to the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and I often visit the Westwin News & Gifts located just outside Concourse D near Dooky Chase. Of course, I always take a moment to peruse the magazines every time I patronize this store. There is a little bit of everything here for travelers. As mentioned, there are lots of magazines and books if you want something to read on the plane. Weswin doesn't carry the humongous selection of books like Hudson News, but there still are plenty of goods books from which to choose. If you are headed home and need a gift for someone, there are plenty of New Orleans styled gifts to choose from. You can get t-shirts, Cajun & creole spices, beignet mix, cookbooks, electronic accessories and New Orleans sports apparel to name a few. There are also lots of snacks and beverages to choose from. Contrary to some of the other reviews, the employees here have always been courteous. Westwin is definitely an A-Ok store for me.
