A ladies' apparel and kids clothing store, as well as some decorative housewares and accessories, the store had a little bit of everything. First off, I was greeted by friendly staff when I walked in, and as I made my way around the store, they were kind enough to take my items to hold them for me. It's a bit crammed in there, but that just means they have some great items. they have Louisiana themed art, Mardi Gras items, and lots of non-themed clothing and accessories. I left with a cute Mardi Gras tumbler, a Louisiana themed plaque to gift a couple I know, and a cute Mardi Gras mask. They had the cutest king cake plates and artwork. I had already blown my budget that day, so I had to cut the visit short. I really enjoyed my trip in here, and will certainly go back, especially for kids gifts, if i am in the area.

This store is one of three stores in the area with Little Miss Muffin in Lakeview and then another one on Old Metairie Road! Can I tell you the sales ladies here are so friendly and welcoming! They greet you as soon as you walk in the store and ask if you need help. One thing I'll mention is this store is so much bigger on the inside than what it appears in the outside! It has clothes, jewelry, shoes, purses, accessories etc. for little girls, teenagers and ladies! I love it!! There are even toys in the front! I saw another pair of pants for $105.00 and to take 60% off that. Jewelry was about $54.00 a piece and if you bought one you would get one for 50% off. The store has a terrible smell. The gentleman who helped me was great, he guided me toward their traveler jeans which I hadn't tried and that's what I ended up with. The staff is helpful and is always asking if any assistance is needed. It is inside of Lakeside Mall, on the Causeway side (the eastern part of the mall). I love, love, love Lane Bryant. One star deduction because during peak shopping periods, the parking is unbearable, other than that, I think this is pretty darn perfect. Seriously, I have never had an issue with this location, except during the holiday season, and that is not the fault of this store specifically, it is the nature of the retail environment.

But my quest for themed items brought me here with hopes that I would find what I needed. When I walked in I set off the security alarm and of course that brought attention to me. I explained what went on at a prior stop and they understood. With that I asked if they had any themed items and they directed me to an area in the store. That area, the men's section, was a bit disappointing. I rummaged around a bit and headed back downstairs. I was looking for tube socks and asked if they knew if they had any. One of the associates took me back upstairs to the clearance area and started to look with me. We weren't having any luck and she told me to hold on a second. She went into the back room and came back out with a six pack of tube socks. She saved the day. She knew they had them, went and got them, and then gave me more good news by telling me that they were on clearance as well. Then I started to head downstairs and asked if the artist shirts they had hanging up in the front of the store were men's, women's, or unisex. They said a majority of them were unisex. Grabbed myself a shirt as well and made my way to checkout. The two associates that were there, and helped me throughout, were there again so they already knew I would probably set off the alarm again. This time I wasn't stopped or anything.
