I just recently bought a tire at another Walmart store and I guess somewhere along the line in the gasket on my valve plug came loose. The tire was leaking a little bit right after the brand new insulation so stop by another store which was this one on the way to work after leaving the other one about an hour and they took care of it very nicely. This review is for the auto service center. I've been there quite a few times to service my vehicles and also my parents vehicles. The service staff is excellent. They are respectful and always helpful/friendly. To top it all off they have one of the best service managers there. His name is Dave and he is outstanding. This man knows everything about cars. You ask him anything related to cars and he will give you a very detailed explanation. We came from out of town needing an oil change. We arrived around 10am on Saturday. Luckily there was only one car infront of us. They were able to do the service. The guy who did the service was very nice and friendly. Both the guys inside who checked us out were very nice and informative as far as what to look out for to know when the car needed an oil change again. It took about 20-25minutes. It was a pleasant experience. :) I was nervous to come seeing the trend of negative reviews... but I have nothing bad to say about my experience. Customer service was very bad at the auto care. The fat male african american supervisor yelled at me for just being picky on buying a car battery. He was very rude. All I wanted was to buy the most recent manufactured battery as they do have the date labeled on them. This guy should be fired as he doesn't seem to like his job. No wonder the very bad reviews on this auto care center. Pay attention to the bad reviews Walmart corporate. You don't need this kind of supervisor yelling at your customers. Wouldn't change the tire because it was a "run flat tire" and said it was a liability for them to put normal tires on. Said they dont "fix expensive cars" (Bmw X3??). Got my first oil change for my new (used) car here after I saw how low their prices were, which were the cost of the materials and that's it. They let me come in on a Saturday morning without any prior appointment scheduled and got it done in just over 20 minutes. I've never waited less than an hour for a SCHEDULED oil change before, especially on a Saturday morning. Afterwards a nice guy named Dave actually asked me how much I'd sell my car for then proceeded to give me several tips and pointers on how to better take care of my car. Super nice guy. I went to change my oil at 25450 The old Rd Stevenson Ranch and was told that they could not take the oil filter and refuse to change the oil. Worker and manager stated that pothole tire damage is not covered by Walmart road hazard. I had to tow my car to the next Walmart near by because over the phone they stated they will honor the road hazard warranty because pothole damage is covered. Manager said thats what I get for living in LA and said he was sorry lol. He also advised that I should contact LA city for reimbursement. Never going back again. My experience at this Walmart Tire Center has been nothing but pleasant. The prices and services provided is unbeatable in comparison with other places. When it comes to the quality of the oil selection, the choices are unlimited. All the major brands, from full synthetic to conventional oil. They do tires and other basic services such as replacing air filters and cabin filters as well. They normally have two lanes going for lube on a busy day. I am here today on a Sunday and was told maybe 2 or 3 hours. It hasn't been an hour and my car is already in the service bay. Suweet! Bring your car here and experience for yourself. read more

Had new tires purchased on line mounted and balanced in timely, professional, and courteous manner. Price and warranty were awesome so long as all materials and work done thru Walmart. Liked it so much that I bought another set of tires for my wife's car. Just waiting for Covid to allow reopening so i can get those mounted. Its 6/18 and they are still closed. Ive had tires since Mid may. Only drawback to the process is that online tire sales delivery was only allowed to my home and not their shop. Delivery did not require signature so brand new tires were promptly left on my front porch. If buying high end tires try to be home for delivery. I dont like idea of brand new tires being left unattended in the current social environment. Otherwise Delivery was super-fast. Entire process is commendable. read more

I was helped by Leo. Going to previous Walmart Auto Care Centers I did not have a good expectation when I needed help with defective tires that I got installed at Walmart previously. Leo was absolutely amazing and I would recommend anyone to him for help or service. I hope he gets a raise, a promotion or does well in life in general. He was very helpful in the process of getting replacement tires. I no longer feel unsafe with the amount of noise coming from my tires. It was like a muffler was installed on my car. They were unable to perform my oil change as they explained that the oil canister was tightened too tight by the previous business that I had the oil change done through. Do they not have the tools or strength to open a canister that they deal with day in and day out? Extremely disappointing. Jiffy Lube said they deal w/ customers coming from Walmart all of the time complaining how the technicians there claim this reason or that reason on why they can't follow through w/ the oil change. It's definitely a little shady and perhaps they are just lazy. Don't get your hopes up if you usually go to Jiffy Lube and then go to Walmart. They'll most likely turn you away. read more

Dave is the Man! Just goes to show you how customer service makes a huge difference! Not sure if he is running the place... but he should be. Before I was able to get out of the car He asked me how my day was going...he had me pop the hood and he quickly checked my oil... He told me I was a quart low... And then he got down on the ground took a picture of my oil leak and then showed it to me so I didn't have to get on the ground as well... He was incredibly friendly and helpful. He gave me a great recommendation for synthetic oil that my car needs and offered assistance in purchasing the oil as well...If you need to get an oil change... Do it at Walmart... But make sure you ask for Dave... He is extremely helpful and it goes above and beyond... You just don't see that nowadays...At bare minimum Walmart needs to give this guy some kind of incentive to keep him around. Great prices, not such detail oriented work. Came to get my tires switched out for new ones and was given a defective tire which means no really inspected my tires after they were installed. One was completely flat and they moved my car to the side of the building so that I could pick it up. How could they not notice? Can't drive a car smoothly with a flat. Anyhow, they gave me a new tire but took longer to switch it out. And the rims were left all dirty from when they switched them out. read more

I can't even give this place a one star. Took my daughters car last night to get a new battery. Today she was stranded in Thousand Oaks waiting for AAA. Her car wouldn't start. Apparently the cable was not connected correctly and was not cleaned correctly. I called and talked to Raul the supposed supervisor he wasn't exactly helpful or concerned about the situation.
