We recently inherited my dad's older truck. When we took it to our regular mechanic he noticed that a service that we had had was done poorly by Firestone in TX. (Thank you dad for keeping all of your maintenance records!) So he suggested I take it to a local Firestone to have it repaired correctly since it should be under warranty. I was able to easily see the appointment. The found my dad's records, and were able to find the problem. He explained everything to my husband and gave him the options for getting it right. The car was ready in a reasonable amount of time and it drove wonderfully. We ended up taking another car there to get a new tire and we were met with quality service again. The people in the front desk, amazing customer service even when delivering the bad news about our car. Because of the customer service I wanted to give 5 stars. My family and I didn't have a choice on where to bring our car. We weren't from the area, our car was towed here, and we just went with the flow. When I called ahead of time to ask if it's ok our car get towed there, the gentleman was honest to tell me it's a 3hr wait. It was about 1:30 when we got there and they closed at 5pm, and our car wasn't even looked at. I didn't get that update, so I called at 5pm to get the update one my own. Car got looked at the next morning, we got estimates mid day with recommendations because the problem couldn't be recreated. Most people we talked to while we were stranded told us it could have been bad gas and yet it was my husband that had ask for the fuel treatment. We knew our car needed an oil change, alignment and windshield wipers. All things we were going to do when we got back home. Without labor our car recommended items was about $400 and labor was about $400 with a total close to $900. We took what we could with the recommended items knowing we still had to drive back to WA. This is what we experienced, I did like the customer service when I called for updates. But I'll let you decide whether to come to this place or not, because it was pricy for recommended items and not knowing exactly what went wrong. read more

Shattered my windshield during oil change. Denied responsibility and tried to blame me like I drove in there with a shattered window. I attached an image of their vehicle inspection that makes no mention of the shattered windshield. I spoke to their corporate office and it took them 10 days to get back to me via email that simply stated they weren't going to pay for the damage they caused. Thanks for the extra charge on top of an overpriced oil change and be prepared to be pressured into buying a bunch of useless up charges when you come in. Came in to this business on Friday, August 22nd. They were apparently busy and couldn't help me the same day. Which is understandable. So I asked to make an appointment for the following day; today Saturday the 23rd. The representative made my appointment for 10a today. I showed up today at 9:50 and now over an hour later from my confirmed appointment time they havent even looked at my vehicle. The representative when I checked in today told me the minor tire repair would take a maximum of 45 to an hour. Yet at over an hour later they havent even looked or moved the vehicle from the parking lot. They have my email and phone number but no call or update. Just me coming back over an hour later to find out they have done nothing. Very poor reliability to their confirmed appointment time made and worse communication. read more

I had my appointment at 8am but brought in my car late due to unexpected circumstances the staff help me right away and the alignment was finished in no time. Not happy with these guys at all. I made an appointment two days in advance, for an alignment at 1:30pm (in the middle of my workday) and I got there right on time. When I arrived, the receptionist said all his technicians were out to lunch, and I needed to wait an hour, for them to come back. My first thought was, why did you guys schedule my appointment and then make me wait there for an hour, while literally every tech was going to be out for lunch? Apparently you guys value your tech's lunch time with no consideration to your customer's time that they take off work to use your service. I was hoping to run some quick errands in that hour, so they wouldn't completely waist my time just sitting there, so I asked if I could come back in an hour, when the techs all came back from lunch, but the receptionist said he couldn't hold the appointment for me. That was insultingly, because they were the ones who didn't keep my appointment and I was the only customer waiting there, so I was not sure who he would have to give my appointment to, if I came back in an hour. There is a sign on the wall that says: FIXED PRICED RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT ON TIME You guys need to either live up to your slogans or change them. p.s. Went to get an alignment done and they're one of the few places open on a Sunday. They did the job faster than I expected, but unfortunately my carpet had a black footprint. I go inside and they have one of their guys clean it up. Cool, I appreciate that. I get home and the rack and pinion rubber bellows were all twisted up (left side) and were a bit deformed (right side). I should've gotten a pic of the left side, but man I was more preoccupied in making sure the bellow was good. For context, they needed to screw in my tie rod bc I just changed it and it still wasn't in close enough. These rubber bellows are new, I just replaced them. I ended up untwisting and undoing the deformations. Please have your guys put some quality in their work. Alignment felt great and they did their job, but attention to detail matters. read more

Usually go here for an oil changes on all my vehicles so I thought I'd take my wife's car in too. I didn't have the best experience recently however. After my wife took the car to the house the idle was jumping all over the place. I popped the hood and saw the oil cap wasn't even on and the plastic manifold cover was thrown to the side. They did drive out to my house to correct the mistake which I had already had done, but it just lets you know to check their work just in case. Been having some issues with my A/C unit and been to a few sketchy shops for the issue. I drove from LA to this location as I heard from a friend that this shop in particular was honest and reliable. I booked a reservation a week in advance and got a confirmation email that my appointment was booked. I show up 10 minutes ahead of my appointment time and am told that the A/C specialist is off today. While I understand life can happen and things change, I would hope that the business would respect my time as I also tried to respect theres by being on time and prompt. read more

Since then I have been there a handful of times because I have their "lifetime alignment" which in itself is a great value. However, it seems like almost every time I go there they are trying to upsell me on things and if I just stick with the alignment service then I end up having to wait. I had been here years ago but maybe I wasn't on Yelp at the time. Anyway I needed to get an alignment for my son's car and since I had some work done on my other car at the Firestone in Glendale I thought I would give this one a try. The website was very user friendly and I was able to schedule an appointment there that worked for me and they had a coupon for $20 a lifetime alignment. Since it is my son driving the lifetime alignment is a good thing. Cost online for this was $189 so would be $169 with the discounted coupon. I got there a half hour early but there was no problem dropping off the car and I was told by the technician there was an additional offer so the cost would actually be $10 cheaper...now $159...who am I to argue with saving more money so I was glad he told me. We got a call less than two hours later the car was ready and when picking up I asked when could we bring the car back for future alignments. The technician said anytime I wanted but recommended when we change the oil. I had no problems and would recommend the shop. read more

Great experience!! Had my car towed because my brakes went out, luckily this happened when I was parked. Called a few places and I was referred to Firestone. Upon calling, I spoke to a gentleman named, Harry, he was very helpful, he said just have them tow my car there. He said they will look at it, the charge to look was $9.00. He did say I would have to leave my car there overnight, not a problem, glad he told me in advance. He also told me he would call me back with an estimate, which he did. I was were impressed by the service. They were very honest and thorough, turns out it was a bad hose and the brake fluid completely leaked out. I went the next day and applied for the Firestone Credit and was assisted by Harry. He told me he would call me when my car it was ready. Did have to leave my car one additional day. Harry kept me informed and followed up a phonecall... that's great service. When I finally picked up my car I was helped by Ray, another helpful person. I highly recommend this location. Yesterday morning, I called in due to some uneven wear and cracking of my Bridgestone tires. These tires had more than 50 tread left on them. I had purchased the tires from Firestone 3 years earlier. At the same time, I had my car aligned as well. At the end of my visit, I had 4 new tires and a lifetime alignment package at an unbelievable price. Harry took care of all my concerns and bent over backwards to make sure that the manufacturer's warranty was correctly applied to my new purchase. Reserved a 9am appointment for a wheel alignment. Woke up early and was at their shop 10 minutes before the appointment time, checked in with the guy at the desk and he said "ok leave your car here and come back by 4pm." I said it shouldn't take 7 hours to do a wheel alignment, that's why I made an appointment. The guy said there was 8 cars ahead of me and they only use their appointment system to see how many people were coming in to their shop on that day. That information is not disclosed on the schedule appointment part of Firestone's website. What is the point in the appointment system if you're not using it to reserve spots for people so we don't have to wait 8 hours to have simple work done on our vehicles. Wasted my time and resources. I will not be doing business with Firestone again. read more

I've come to this Firestone for a couple of years now and up until today I had a great experience. Harry helped me today and gave terrible customer service. He was incredibly rude and had helped a customer before hand as I had waited and had an appointment as well. He never helped me individually but I have seen him before, other times when my boyfriend was with me, he was nice and helpful towards him only. Today I was alone and only needed an inspection for Uber driving and was told over the phone when making the appointment not to worry and that I would be handled as well as they had all the forms necessary. After complaining to Harry he ended our interaction with saying he only had Lyft Forms and that he could tell my car would not pass inspection anyway due to my tire. I knew his integrity was faulty because I had told him at this point I was clearly upset. The staff is great other than having to work with Harry as I am a young mother yet he made me feel unimportant and a young woman with no prior experience with customer service or cars. I would not recommend seeking assistance from him if you are not with any male presence there to speak with him. I would give the location itself a 4 star review as I have memories laughing and receiving outstanding service with other staff however because it is managed by such a sexist and rude individual it has lost its value to me. read more

I brought my truck in for an oil change several months ago. The tech said I had a blown head-gasket. So, they wouldn't do anything. I brought it to another shop (JATS) and it was just condensation. So JATS changed the oil with no problem. I just called Firestone to change my oil and the guy said I had a blown head-gasket. I told them I had another shop examine it and there was no problem. The guy at firestone refused to change it and said he wouldn't touch my truck even though I explained there is no head-gasket problem. Kind of a short'n'sweet experience, not a large purchase at all, just a flat tire repair. Needless to say, I was there! So, here goes... Called Saturday, made appointment for Sunday. Yup, Firestone is one of the few tire places open on Sunday in my neck of the woods. Had a three o'clock appointment and arrived a bit early. I was greeted promptly and they took the car in. I was rolling out at 3:34 with a reasonable $21 bill for fixing the flat and balancing the wheel/tire. Knocked it down one star only for the showroom. I know it's just a tire shop, but it could use a bit of updating. Everything was clean, but kind of drab and weary. People all in uniform and very nice to all of the customers, but some fresh paint in current colors and updated graphics would go a long way to being a more comfortable customer environment. No issues...will definitely consider them when I need tires. read more
