We'll always go to Big John's for tires from now on -- and not just for the work they did, but for the work they didn't do. I spotted a screw in my tire and thought, "Here we go again!" Between construction and potholes, we've replaced more tires than I care to admit. I took my car in, fully prepared for the bad news and an unexpected bill. After about 20 minutes, they came back and told me... they weren't charging me a dime. Turns out the screw had just nestled itself in the grooves of my low-profile tire without actually puncturing it. They could've easily told me I needed a repair or a replacement, and I would've believed them. But they didn't. They were honest, fast, and genuinely kind. That's integrity. Brought my car just before noon for an alignment that another shop messed up. Spoke to Rob and he told me he would look into it. He then called me back an hour later telling me my car was aligned and I asked him if they could do a rear brake job as well and he told me he would get to it first thing the next morning. I agreed and within an hour after that call he called me again and told me that they were able to finish all the work. The turn around time was crazy fast and the service was great. I arrived here disheveled and frustrated. First they checked to see if my tire was salvageable ($40). It was not. They did not have my tire in stock and it was nearly time to close (6pm) so they ordered my tire and told me to come back early in the morning. To my surprise not only was the tire there but they were ready for me. I had purchased a Carli leveling kit for my Ram 2500 and had planned on installing myself. But, I decided to have the professionals install it. I couldn't be more happy with the entire process. I showed up a little after they opened and everyone was super friendly and helpful. They got my truck into the shop almost immediately and started working on it. We needed to replace a flat on our Tesla, which is a pricier tire but the value of their work, and the quickness in ordering the tires was well worth the price. My husband called Big John's the day before and described the type of tire he needed. During the discussion it was determined we would replace two tires and rotate the back tires to the front. When my husband brought the car to them he was told they would get right on it! And sure enough they did. Within 30 minutes they put new tires on the back and moved the back tires to the front. Went to remove nails from two tires and patch both. The price per tire is very good. I was only charged for one tire because they found the second tire didn't leak and didn't need a patch. Service was very fast (under 30 minutes). The place is clean, looks nice, has a comfortable waiting area, and smells nice. Parking is busy -that's a minus, but the front-desk associate has a nice-looking mohawk, and a mohawk is always a plus, so that kinda evens it out. GREAT PEOPLE BUT THIS PLACE LIES ! This is the second time this shop does this I called in a day before to verify in a a 5 to 10 minute conversation because I'm very thorough on the job. Marcus quested me a price. I get everything ready. I called back and asked for Marcus to make sure that we're set to go and now he's there and they raise the price $20. I don't mind the price screw it I'll even pay $100 more but I don't appreciate the lying !! I've been through this twice with this company and there's always an excuse for them to jack up the price at the last minute. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid. Doesn't get much more reliable than Big Johns. I just walked in. If you have some time I don't think you need to call ahead. Came in to get my tires checked. I actually had been here a few times over the past 15 years. They gave an honest quote, quick and efficient. I'll be getting them later in the year. They have a waiting area with coffee, couches and a TV. They keep their shop super clean. Mike and Rob were super nice, helpful and friendly. Being a women in her 20s, sometimes car shops can be intimidating or you feel you are being taken advantage of because of the lack of car knowledge. I can assure you that won't happen here. By far the worst place you can go to lift your truck. Customer service is crap. They don't know how to do alignments correctly at all. They are way over priced and they will give you one quote and the change the price at the end when you go to pick up your truck. I've taken two of my cars here and they messed up on both of them. I've had to pay for the same repair twice and didn't trust them enough to bring my vehicles back. My first car got a new belt and pulley installed. I noticed a couple days later that it was squealing louder every day. I eventually had a friend look at it for him to tell me that the new belt was the incorrect size and the pulleys were ruined because of it. I called to ask if the belt might be misaligned and the person on the phone said it was impossible and was clear he thought I messed with the car. I had to push saying I haven't been anywhere else before he offered l take a second look at it. My second car had one transmission mount and all my engine mounts changed on it. When they handed my car back the mechanic told me that when changing gears there was a clunky sound but didn't bother to investigate. I went somewhere else and they showed me that one transmission mount was completely busted and the other one presumably the one that was changed was on its way out. In total I've probably spent over 2 grand here in half ass repairs that I've had to spend more money on 8 months later. I thought this place was good but if you want your car serviced thoroughly and well I wouldn't recommend this place. This place is probably full of great mechanics but I think they take on too much work causing them to overlook a lot of things. read more

Found this place on Yelp and decided to check them out. The guys here are polite and professional. They installed some Bilstein 6112's and control arms in the front and 5160's in the rear. They did a great job and my truck drives and looks great! Pricing is fair and competitive but overall the quality of the work is why I'm writing the review. Great job! Great shop/customer service. I had called several shops trying to get a set of method bead grip wheels last minute before a camping trip, other shops said they would take a few days to get; Big John's said they would be able to get the Methods I wanted probably the next day (which I think they did, but I came 2 days after calling). They were able to get them swapped with my stock wheels in about an hour and a half, no appointments. The cherry on top was letting my 3 year old pick 2 toy cars (hot wheels) from their bag behind the counter to help distract him while we waited. Hot wheels are cheap (my son and I love them) but the thought behind it is what mattered most. read more

I have had my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel in to Big John's several times, but unfortunately the last visit did not go well and potentially could have caused an accident. I had Big John's replace my front lower A arms, coil spring caps, and sway bar link rods. Alignment was performed and the vehicle was returned to me. Approximately 5 months later while I was detail cleaning the front under side of the engine, I was shocked by what I saw. The front right sway bar link was never attached to the lower A arm!! I called Big John's and brought the truck back to them. They took care of the problem but I certainly was disappointed that they they didn't own up to this major gaff. No apology or anything. They wanted me to leave the vehicle there and come back for it, since they had other customers ahead of me. A responsible business that wants to keep customers should drop everything in a major screwup like this and make things right. That screwup could have stayed that way for years, but I got lucky. (Retired corporate jet technician/inspector). Big John's the gaff was bad enough but the attitude afterwards... I will not be coming back and I cannot recommend their services to anyone. read more

So far so good. Just dropped off/picked up truck yesterday (3/10/23). 2017 Toyota Tundra and had them put in Bilstein 6112/5160 lift with diff drop spacers and ended up adding a deaver leaf pack. Matt and Rob helped explain pros and cons of difference set ups, taking into consideration cost. Very helpful. Parts came in within a week and installed in a day.
