I was qouted $2,600 to replace the oil pan or we can re-thread Your drain plug for only $350. Unfortunately they had the upper hand because oil was currently leaking from the drain plug. I was under duress and just agreed to the repair. They were so kind to deduct $50 in recognition of my military service. Needless to say, they lost my trust and I will never return for future service, my friends and family will be encouraged to do the same. What would prevent this business from running this same play on others? If I owned this business and all that was involved was labor to re-thread a drain plug knowing that the damage was most likely caused by my technicians, I would have made it right. Especially knowing customer in question was loyal to my business and had been bringing two vehicles for 5+ years for service. Seems like a no-brainer business model to not loose future business.

The elevated 2 Star rating was because they were able to squeeze my unscheduled maintenance in and provide me an estimate. My vehicle's issue was a check engine light. I already had the code read at Auto Zone and provided CB with the P0128 code to target the repair. I discussed the issue with AJ and he mentioned he sees this issue frequently so I thought I was in good hands. We skipped the courtesy inspection to get my vehicle in and out quickly because I had an urgent family issue. They sent me an estimated cost to replace the thermostat engine coolant assembly for my vehicle to be over ~$1270 including $724 for the part alone. I told AJ that was too much $$$ and that I would pick up my vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle I told AJ I found the OEM part online for hundreds of dollars cheaper and he said that his parts system had that price. You will see similar posts from other CB customers about over priced parts. I should've listened to that feedback but the CB shop is close by and convenient. I was ready to pick up my vehicle. That's when AJ told me I had a $160 diagnostic bill. I asked him for what since I told them specifically what to target and that was their same conclusion. AJ told me that they had to pay for the mechanic's time. That same diagnostic took Auto Zone a few minutes so $160 for nothing new is outrageous! I tried CB about five years ago and they messed up the shocks on my 1968 Pontiac Firebird and it was a fiasco to get remedied by them and take accountability. I chalked that up to an older vehicle and thought I'd give them another shot on my 2016 vehicle. Fool me once shame on me....fool me twice....I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The bill to replace the thermostat assembly with the OEM part ended up being 50% of CB's cost. They should replace the C with an S on their name for Shady Brothers.

The team was friendly and explained everything well, including their recommendations for additional work. However, there were a few issues. They said they would add air to my tires since the tire pressure light was on, but it never happened. I felt like I had to watch closely to ensure things were done correctly. Since I was in a hurry, I didn't mention the air pressure again and ended up going to Discount Tire later to fix it. Another issue was with my information in their system. I'd never been there before, but somehow, they already had a profile for me with incorrect details. The name on my receipt was a mix of my last name and someone else's, and the email address on file wasn't mine at all, but they had my correct home address. I Thankfully, I asked for a printed receipt, or I wouldn't have caught this. My suggestion for the customer/shop is to double-check customer information in their system and verify it with the client to avoid confusion and ensure receipts go to the correct email address

Full synthetic blend cost $80. This is about average pricing for a couple of places around this area. $28 tire rotation. Coupons online saved me $18 on oil change, 15% off tire rotation, and 15% military discount making my total ~$75 with tax. Awesome! I will be back overall very satisfied.

We thought maybe it was the runoff or that it had drained down the block. We were patient. However, the oil wasn't a little - it was a lot. We took the car back and here were the different answers we received: sometimes the plug backs itself out, they didn't want to strip the threads so they didn't tighten it and sometimes this just happens. What? Unfortunately, we now also have our new car making a new noise and no confidence in this establishment. I feel compelled to warn others only because a car is such an expensive investment to have a company demonstrate such little care and attention to detail when doing their ONE job.
