I decided to make a car appointment at Henderson Toyota as I thought there may have been another…read morerecall on my car. My appointment was just for an oil change and tire rotation but this took two hours. I could see if it were busy there but it was pretty much dead. Another customer arrived at 10:40 for the same work but hers was finished at 11:30am. So I am not sure what in the world they were doing with my car. It did reek of smoke when I did get it back. On my drive home, I was processing the amount I was charged in my head and it seemed like too much for what was done. So I pulled over and looked closer. They never applied the coupon for the service. Since it was stapled to the repair order I think this was deliberate. When I drive back to the dealership I was told that they cannot process a refund as the repair order is closed but they will apply the difference towards future work. With a car returned to me that smelled of smoke, I wasn't sure this was a place I'd want to return. It took about 45 minutes to get the refund processed that they claimed they couldn't do. They could have refunded me in cash if they couldn't figure out the credit card machine. My appointment was at 10am, I didn't arrive home after all this craziness until 2:30pm. It took up most of my day. They should have offered to wash my car for the inconvenience. Most dealership do a complimentary wash after service so it would have been a small gesture to keep business rather than have as customer go elsewhere. When I got home, I noticed that someone had messed up my paperwork in the glove box. I keep it in order and it was no longer that way. If whoever was in the glove box was paying attention he or she wouldn't have recommended an air filter as that was just replaced the year before. I was also told the battery was bad and two of the tires. I need to trust the place I take my car and this doesn't seem to be where I will get more car work done.

There are two advance stores in this little berg and they like to blame each other for the short comings , Don't believe them when you call about a part and they tell you yes we have that,when you get there you didn't talk to anyone there or they had a shift change and can't be heald responsible for someone else's mistake! I'll never shop at Advance auto again, and I'd advise everyone else to beware.

I don't normally leave reviews and I cannot remember the last time I left a negative one. However…read moremy experience here is questionably UNETHICAL, and definitely IMMORTAL. I finally found a car here at Charles Boyd Chevrolet, I asked a bunch of questions, got pictures, video, history, and decided to purchase, CAME TO A PRICE with their salesman Parker. I advised him I would be there the next morning. I live over 2 hours away from this dealership and you do not drive 4 hours total for a look see, the decision is made. I had to make arrangements for a car service in the morning as well as pet sitting and picking up a certified bank check for the amount discussed out of my bank account. Lives disrupted. Within a few hours I get a text so sorry the car's been sold, would I consider an alternate vehicle? As if I would continue to do business with them? why so they can do it again? I was supposed to be there in the morning!?! What kind of people does this dealership hire and how do they sleep at night? It's a shame underhandedness still surprises me, I hope they made a buck seems they made a sale but they certainly lost a customer and I will let anyone who cares about shopping with these people know. Hugely disappointed.
