After leaving my home for work 4/17/2024 I noticed the wheel was missing a lug and after investigating I noticed that the wheel stud was snapped off. I immediately called Gerber collision who had this company sub-contracted for the repair and explained the situation and they contacted the wheel company. While awaiting a response, I went through my camera footage and found the video of the repair guy working on the wheel. The owner of the wheel company then called me before I was able to evaluate the footage but I let him know they were the last to touch the wheel and I had camera footage I would be looking through. The owner did not seem concerned and backed up his guy's statements that he didn't break anything and told me I needed to call Gerber collision back. After reviewing video footage, I have the moment the tech over torqued the lug and snapped the wheel stud. He then pulled the lug out and just sat it freely back into place to make it look repaired. He then sounded like he was on the phone talking to someone, packed his tools up and left without talking to my wife or letting us know he damaged the wheel. I would not recommend this company, they are liars and after sending a text with video proof to the owner he has yet to respond. There is no integrity or honesty with their work. It's safe to say that they feel they can con someone if the opportunity is there, they will take it. He had no problem assuming we would not think he damaged it and we would be liable for repairs. Luckily I have the video footage to back up the damage claims and Gerber is taking care of this companies damage.

I took two in when I picked the one up ( I borrowed spares from friends ) . I was able to easily schedule an appointment online for the following week. In the reservation I was able to type out exactly what I thought my auto problem was and how I would like it addressed. I received an email confirmation from the office with a personalized acknowledgement of my reservation. I had a question prior to my appointment which was politely answered by _____ at the front desk. The office had plastic guards up at the check in desks as well as social distancing markers on the floor. Dennis checked me in and confirmed what work and inspections were to be done on the car, and let me know that I would be contacted after it was inspected and how I would like to proceed. Only had to wait about 90 minutes later the inspection was done. I received an email notification including a link to Caroll's site which broke down what parts were suggested to be replaced, why the need to replace them, what those parts specifically do, and the severity of how strongly they were recommended to be replaced. I hadn't seen something like this before and it was very cool. Also very helpful to use for reference in the future. Now, it seems that an appointment just puts you next in line, and you will wait until those who arrived before you get service. Those working on the vehicles are still very friendly, including those who do the free tire air checks. The tires I bought here have the rotation and balance included so I hope service returns to the level it was at when I started bringing my vehicle here.
