They also pointed out an issue I had (and didn't know about) with a rusted off bolt, and recommended a couple near-by garages where I could get estimates. The waiting area was super clean, they had a kids area, t.v., soda machine snacks to buy, and free coffee & doughnuts...and the price was comparable to any oil change place in the area. I'll be back in a few months to have one more change done before we pull our RV north again.

I was informed that the Belt tension Assembly PostTTEnDer ,Ser Belt Poly Rib Tender needed to be be replaced due to wear tear. I requested a quote for the total and Mrs Xiomara Quoted a price of $500.00 plus tax. Upon completion of the repairs she proceeded to Process the transaction. Total Bill came out to $683.00.13. I review my bill and I discovered that Mrs Xiomara took upon herself to include warranty without my consent under ticket# 2298545 The assistant manager Xiomara further failed to Include my 20% Discount of my Oil change Pep Boy coupon. I was extremely upset and questioned why she included warranty Without my Consent and failed to include my 20% coupon. Mrs Xiomara replied I always was get warranty on my repairs and smiled. I informed her that was out right theft and unethical. It just concerns me how many poor citizens of Cameron County she has stolen from. This stores lacks being transparent and act in good faith to their customers. I requested that said charges be removed because they were not authorized by me. The store manager became frustrated and nervous it actually took her thirty minutes to modify the bill with the correct charges. The bill was processed under ticket# 2298545 store number#0766 Citizens of Brownsville hope you learn from the review. Totally unethical behavior and Simply Theft by this manager. $258.24 over charged intentionally by this unethical Assistant manager. I have been a loyal customer at this store for the past 15 years. If I refuse to have the repairs done they don't guarantee the alignment. So the guy took my truck in and came back about 15 minutes later saying that I need needed both the upper and the lower joints and it would be $800. I refused the additional work and they did my alignment as best they could, anyway so they said. Upon leaving I paid my $69 and got a receipt but what was lacking was the computer print out of what work they actually did. When I asked him for the form that comes with the alignment and shows what and how many adjustments they made they said they couldn't not print it up for me because a printer was out of ink. So how do I really know what work was done? I again ask them and they said well you can go to the alignment machine and take a picture of what we did for your records so that's what I ended up doing. I am somewhat dissatisfied with that aspect of the work being that there is no real verification of what was actually done to my vehicle, for all I know I paid 69.00 bucks and the truck still the same.
