I came to this walmart on thursday 5-5-2022 for the first time for an oil change. The job was done within about 40 minutes. I drove my car for 2 days and on saturday 5-7-2022 on my to L.a my car started smelling like oil burning. I pull over and pop my hood and seen that the techs did NOT put my oil cap back on nor did they put my engine cover back on. So my engine was doing like a volcano spilling out all of the oil. My car started over heating. Theres oil all over my engine and now my car making noises it never made before! I have oil all over my windshield and the whole passenger side of the vehicle is splattered with oil. When i spoke to the supervisor he said the techs that worked on my car are new! So they dont train or supervise all new employees? They offered me my money back..but what about my car?? I am now having problems with the car due to the oil getting everywhere! Im being told not to even drive my car that its dangerous cause it can catch fire at anytime!! Im a single mom my husband past away in November and its the only vehicle i have and i can't afford another car!!! read more

This 5 star is SPECIFICALLY because of the tire & lube express department and the experience I had today EVERYONE (Erik, Manny, Brody, Ruben) were so cool, in a great mood which is contagious. They were happy to help and provide information. They seemed to enjoy their job and worked great together, I was the only car so they all jumped in and worked like a well oiled to get the job done quickly, SAFELY and done right. Tried to simply pay cash for 1 item through automated checkout stand. The machine already took most of our cash and then started malfunctioning. Younger lady with long blonde hair came and rudely said to us, "on my gosh, what's going on here, what are you trying to do" and then in a very degrading and nasty tone told us multiple times to "stay away, don't touch it (when we weren't even near it or trying to touch the machine at all)." First of all, my daughter and I probably much older than her and both of us are adults and very computer savy. We did not appreciate being treated like we were at fault for their stupid machine malfunctioning, and especially don't appreciate being treated in a very rude and degrading manner. Next time, my family and I will take our business to the Target across the street, which has way better customer service. read more

It didnt appear to be used in the box but when I got home and opened it up the sticker on the back is clearly worn. They will not let me return it to exchange or get my money back. It is snowing here in southern CA, my car was sliding all around the road. Walmart tire center was only place open after work. I called at 6. They were open to 7. They had tires that fit my car in stock. I said I was going to come in and get 4 tires. They prepped those before I got there. I had my two toddlers in the car, so the fact that they knew they would have to stay a little later then their hours in order to help keep my kids safe was priceless. I'm very grateful to the following people in automotive: Cristina, Brody, and Cam. I feel much safer on the road. The tires are reasonably priced too. Very happy with my service. read more

this walmart is very limited compared to the other walmarts in the area, but is okay for some things. But online ordering is very chancy. I recently ordered 2 packs of 4 items and they sent me 2 items instead. and it was very slow, and the tracking poor so I had no idea where the items were or when they might come. so I went to lowes and bought the items there. After trying the Victorville WalMart recently, I'll make it my business to drive a few extra miles to this location from now on. Besides the seven or so people outside of the store's entrance trying to get you to donate to a cause, buy a newspaper or just flat out give cash out of the kindness of your heart, the inside of this WalMart is just like any other. The one exception to this is that I didn't see any self-checkout aisles, so I was stuck standing in line for a single item, which sucked but still didn't take up too much of my time. read more

I went to an auto center inside Walmart to change 2 wheels. When I bought the tires I was told that they would change themselves and told to wait 4 hours. But after 4 hours had passed, they told me that they could not raise my trailer because there was no jack. But I saw several of them with large jacks. Earlier, when I turned to such services, they lifted with the same jacks. Although before that they changed the wheel of large cars. I was disappointed. I had to lift it myself with small jacks and change it myself. They didn't help. I believe that this is discrimination against a person because I am a different nation and not a local. I didn't expect this attitude from Walmart. This is not the store I know. If the opinions of customers are important to you, then I hope that you will take the necessary measures in relation to the employees of the auto center. Why did they at first say that they can, but then they cannot? Why wasn't you warned right away? They also treated me not very politely and not understandingly. read more

I am not from this area, but the one on bear valley frustrated me. They have the baby formula locked up and it takes forever to get someone to help. So I decided to try the apple valley Walmart. Big mistake! I walked in the door and there were 10 people in line for returns and 3 Walmart employees were standing around talking. It was very unprofessional. When someone had a question at register one, she yelled across the store to the service desk to ask a question. Again, very unprofessional. If a manager reads this, you should pay more attention to your employees and the customer service they provide. An unhappy customer tells more people about their experience than a happy customer. This is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been too! First off it's surely has not been updated since the 90's , it has a weird smell and everything is always unorganized! I been here a few times looking for items things are always thrown around , or in the wrong spot. I have also searched for employees to ask for help they're either never to be found or don't know sh*t about what you just asked. The cashiers are so slow ... They usually have the oldest employees at the register , taking their time (no offense to age, but come on) My worst experience was when I was looking for something and walked around for 20 minutes trying to find an employee for help , to be passed to two other employees who sent me to the wrong place eventually I found it on my own , not to long after that my friend was looking for something , we stopped a young female employee to ask her My friend said excuse me do you work here The employee said yes? As if she wasn't sure she worked there or not My friend proceeded to ask a question when the employee started walking away and said I work here but I haven't clocked in yet So my friend said that means you can't answer a question the employee said sorry and walked away I would rather drive to bear valley road and this one is way closer to my home ! This Walmart is a Super Center. They offer the best of the best when you are looking to shop a Walmart. The only issue that I have with his location is no Self Checkouts. The store is large enough to support this feature. Parking and accessing the store is easy. read more

I have been to this Walmart many times, while living in the High Desert region. They have a good selection of inventory, and at fair prices. Although, distance wide, it was far from my home, it was worth it, to shop here. At one time, it was the only Walmart in the area. My husband and I ordered golf cart / atv tires from Walmart, Apple Valley and we received nothing but very helpful and polite service. Automotive Center: Oil change Brought my car (newer model Mitsubishi Eclipse) in for an oil change, after the lube techs filled my car with fresh oil they revved my car well above the respected range multiple times to circulate the oil through the motor, vroom Vroom VROOM!! Now, I was a lube tech for over a year and know what I'm talking about.., I understand a loud exhaust on a customers car is fun to play with, but remember the customer knows their car when they hear it.. Being a manual which it was, we know what the rpm is by the tone.. And revving a car well over 3,000 rpm to check the oil doesn't only irritate the owner, it could also damage components inside the engine the oil has yet to reach.. No excuses for residual oil.. No. After talking to two different managers about how they treat customers vehicles, for them to tell me this is standard procedure is total bull---t.. Extremely unhappy with the service I received, and making excuses saying, potentially damaging customers vehicles is standard procedure.. FAIR WARNING for anyone considering an oil-change at Walmart. -on a side note, having been to this department before and not learning my lesson... I was asked if my car was a diesel.. If you need to even remotely question if someones vehicle is diesel or not.. YOU SHOULD NOT WORK ON CARS!! read more

Unbelievable BAD service. The customer service rep in the front of the store that apparently gets payed just to stand there playing with an iPad made me walk three times to the opposite side of the store just to send me back to the pick up area saying some one would be there in shortly no one ever came until I felled customer service and yet that took another 10 minutes to respond. I'm well aware of the shortages of personnel on certain industries due to the current situation with the COVID-19 but when you see three employees and a general manager walking around in the garden area looking at you and ignoring you I consider that a slap to the face on the customer. I truly hope they work on improving the service I know they probably think "one customer less bah" but I think they should care more or at least pretend a bit that they do. read more

the staff here is so annoying, they literally hound you for your receipt even if its one candy bar. not everyone has the time of the day to stand there and wait for you to scan 6 other peoples receipt and then mine... u guys need to figure out another system because that aint it.. staff will look at u with nasty eyes. wont help u. ignore u. tell u they cant cause theyre "on break". like all i asked was where the bathrooms are and they dont have time to telll me cause theyre on break??? other than that, its like every other walmart. you go to buy one thing and you walk out with 32. meaning the things they sell are obviously good quality and great prices. only come here when i neeeeeeeed to. otherwise im going to target read more

EVERY TIME we place a RX order, they screw it up some how, whether it be shorting us pills by filling by the number of days rather then the number of pills multiplied by the number of days to be taken. 10 day supply 3 times a day How many pills would that be? 30 not 10 90 day supply of 180 pills total how many pills a day is that? 2 pills a day, how many pills do you need for a 30 day supply? 60 pills, this is NOT difficult math. Not sure how they passed any tests. Triple checked my A@@! I do not think we have EVER received a SINGLE order correct and I am SICK of running to Walmart and waiting forever to get RX's picked up! read more

This is not a super center, firstly, it's just a standard old school Walmart. I HATE THIS STORE. This was my dad's favorite place to shop so I always got dragged along. I suppose I have never had a problem specifically with any of the employees, even though they all look clinically depressed and suicidal (I would be if I worked at Walmart too), but the clientele is the bottom of the barrel, most garbage group of social misfits I have ever seen. Yes, I know that's true of all Walmarts, but it's worse at this one. It's constantly crowded and with the exact sort of people you DON'T want to end up ass-to-ass with. I refuse to come here. If I could give a negative star, or 10, I so would. This place is a complete waste of land. The employees give dirty looks when you smile at them. They don't have a clue where items are located. First off, this was a run in and run out shopping kind of store trip. So, my fiancee and I went to the paint cage to spray paint some rims on his car. We pushed the attention button for an associate to come and unlock the case for us and we were standing around waiting for a little over 30 minutes. Finally we got what we needed. We walked to the cashier and asked for a small bottle of vodka for some nice bloody Mary's to relax at home to after a long day of work... Well here's where it gets even more ridiculous, the cashier REFUSED to sell it to us because she thought I looked underage although I showed her on my driver's license that I am 25. My fiancee (28 years old) asked to speak to a manager and still refused to let us purchase it so we left everything and went to Target. I can speak for my fiancee and myself that we will not be returning to this location. Dirty looks and attitudes along with a waste of time is all that this store, the employees, and management has to offer. read more

I've been to this Walmart multiple times, and I can honestly say that it is the worst Walmart I've been to. This is the only Walmart I visit when I'm up in the high desert, but I don't think I'll be returning here. I went in today looking to get some shampoo for my kids, and I walked into BARE shelves and bare racks. I don't know why, but it looked as if the store was going to be closing. None of the employees came up to me to ask if I was okay, or if I needed anything, they just glared at me. So much for customer service... definitely not pleased with this place. Came in to return an online order. Store closed at 10pm and I got there at 9:10pm. They refused to return my online order because they close their "return registers" at 9pm???????? Never again. It's no surprise that Walmart gets a one star or none at all. You hear that the people that shop at Walmart are stereotyped as ignorant but I assure you that the employees are not an exception to rule. Long story short, I needed to purchase a fishing license for my self and for my wife. I had called there prior and the employee stated that she didn't have to be present and I only needed her physical license. I got there and I was assisted by an employee from the automotive department named SHAWN. He then stated that I could not get one for my wife because she wasn't there physically. I mentioned to him that I was told when I called before I came. He then said he doesn't know why they would say such a thing. He then continued to say that he couldn't sell me a 2 days fishing license and didn't know why, that the only license he can sell is the annual one. I asked to speak to the manage and he said "he" is the the department manager. So then I asked for the store manager. He went back to the automotive to make a call. While he was there another employee of the name FRANK came there. So asked him about having my wife being present to get a fishing license. He said no. I also asked him if the employee that had assisted me is the manager, he said no. Come to find out the guy named Shawn from the automotive is no manager at that department. Shawn lied about being a manager for that department, lied about not being able to sell a fishing license if my wife wasn't present, and lied about not being able to sell me a 2 days license. So I called him out on this and he got pissed really quick. He actually wanted to have a physical altercation at Walmart. I had asked Frank for the store manager and he backed up and said "I'm not involve in this, this is between you and him." As if he wanted to see it go all down. I ended getting an assistant manager named Kim. She went back with me to the department resolve the issue. Shawn was still back talking!!! Changing his story of course. He was told to walk away. Then Frank decided to get in on it and said he will not service me due to my attitude. Kim (Asist manger) told him he was being unprofessional and not providing customer service. He still refused to help me. I was in shock that they were so hostile. Kim ended up servicing me and was very professional. Shawn and Frank do not value their employment at all. They cared less. I called the corporate and spoke to the store manager. So... When you go to this particular Walmart location, you've been warned. They do not care about customer service. read more
