Mark came and had to cut out 3 partial walls and re-route frozen plumbing and his work was impeccable. You can't see where he cut and then reconstructed our brand new drywall. He also vented our microwave that was installed without a vent, as well as mounted our dishwasher to our cabinets (we have heated concrete floors and Quartz countertop, so he had to mount to my cabinets.) I'd highly recommend him for any job you need done. He did this with a very reasonable rate.

He's been…read moreworking for me for almost 20 years (when the need arises), and I will never hire anyone else to work on my/my family member's homes! I'm so happy that Michael has decided to *officially* branch out on his own, because I have projects I've been putting off until he became available, lol. From small jobs like fixing a door casing, to large home remodels, he's incredibly skilled at anything you throw at him! If he doesn't know how to do something, he will tell you, but will also do the research to figure out how to do it correctly (a sign of true integrity, in my opinion!). I've referred Michael to so many people over the years, most importantly several members of my own family. Everyone I've ever referred him to has had nothing but great things to say about him/his work! If you want a reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable, professional, personable handyman/carpenter/etc., you've found your guy! It definitely helps that Michael is also a true artist...his woodworking skills (self-taught), are incredible! He generally just has a great eye for how to do things and make them look amazing...even if you don't have that artistic eye, yourself. I'd highly recommend giving Michael a call ASAP to set up an estimate! I have no doubt that he will become increasingly busy once people realize how terrific his work is. I know that I have a LONG list of projects, and am just waiting for him to have time to come to my area to get everything started! Thanks for all of your hard work over the years, Michael! ~Emily Rodda

Terrible Business! Contracted to build a log home and is now…read more15 months past the original promised completion date with no work performed at all in the last month. Over a year later, and we are at basically the same level of completion. The house was started in the Spring of 2017, and TNT has given excuse after excuse as to why it is still so far from being completed. - Still no stairs on the front of the house or rear deck areas. - Still areas on the front and rear of the house that lack the required log siding. - Still no deck rails, or screened enclosure. - Still not one exterior light installed on the entire house. - Still exterior outlets missing. - Still missing soffits in front and rear of the house. - Still no chimney cap, or connecting ductwork for the fireplace. - Still many uninstalled light switches and outlets. - Still a huge hole in the ground around the propane tank. - Still sunken areas over the electrical and septic lines. - Still about 80% of needed interior trim missing. - Still not one ounce of exterior stain applied to the house (even though you took a draw on it) - Closet doors still not hung. Owner of company has made construction draws for work not completed or even started in some cases, and has refused to reimburse me for money I extended to purchase building materials.

We're so grateful we found Reid's Home Repair for our big basement refinish project - great work…read moreand great humans! Our home was built in 1913 and gut rehabbed in 2024. However, the basement was not finished, but had rough-in plumbing installed. We were looking for someone to finish the basement (4 rooms total), including adding an additional bedroom with closet and full bathroom. This included all electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, door installation, flooring, trim, and painting. Mike was quick to respond to my original inquiry, come check out the space, and provide a quote. He was timely, friendly, and easy to collaborate with. We changed our mind a few times on final design - we appreciate how patient he was with us while we narrowed in on the final plan. The final quote was very detailed and he provided helpful information on the areas for potential cost increase (given that the home is old and there could have been unexpected things identified after work begun). This helped us set our expectations for the project. During the project, he kept us up to date on progress or concerns and kept the area very clean (ensuring very little debris made its way outside the basement into our home). He managed all of the subcontractors (electric, plumbing, carpet, etc) so we didn't need to worry about a thing. Made it super easy by having one point of contact! His work speaks for itself. There were a lot of difficult aspects of the basement to figure out (i.e. uneven walls and ceilings, tricky vents or pipes along the ceiling, water/electrical shutoffs needing to be accessible, etc), but he managed to turn the space into exactly what we were looking for. The attention to detail makes all the difference! In the end, the project took about two months (including carpet installation) and final cost was in line with the estimate. I'd recommend Reid's Home Repair to anyone!
