Jonathan referred us to the flake makers so we could identify the right colors and combination that we wanted for our floors. My husband absolutely loved how it came out, and I love that they do all the right steps to protect your floor and offer a lifetime warranty (they use epoxy and polyaspartic). It was also very easy to schedule the work with their team, and they offer several payment options. The work will take 2 days FYI and is also weather dependent. It was pretty cold (but not snowing) when they did our garage. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their garage floors treated!

Here's another 5 star review. I highly recommend Cata's Painting! They responded promptly to my…read moreYelp quote request and quickly scheduled an appointment to better understand my sink reglazing needs. During the home visit, they gave me the confidence that they would deliver high-quality work at a fair price--and they absolutely did. I couldn't be happier with the results. The surface looks brand new: smooth, glossy, and completely refreshed. The technician was punctual, professional, and clearly explained the entire process. They took great care to protect the surrounding area and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. What impressed me most was the attention to detail--no drips, bubbles, or uneven spots. The finish looks like it came straight from the factory. Cata's team had to fix a botched job from a previous contractor, which had left the surface peeling and uneven. Now, you'd never know there was ever an issue. If you're considering sink reglazing, I highly recommend this service. Excellent craftsmanship, great value, and a stunning transformation! We had a cheaper quote, but the extra cost was worth it.

Biggest bathroom remodel disappointment! I had really high expectations from Max yet the work…read moreperformed was really unprofessional. Tiles bagan to crack due to uneven and lack of mortar under tiles. I personally had to replace them. Caulking around the bathtub was left stain and has to be replaced. Caulking also bled into the tile and while I brought this issue up to Max he tried to remediate it but was still left a mess and said that's all he could do. Another issue, was the temperature of the water was not coming out hot, tried to reach out to Max and he did not care to come out and check his work. After messing around with the shower faucet for hours i was able to get the water to come out hot because the temperature dial/limit in the shower handle was not set correctly by Max.

Absolutely Exceptional Work -- Highly Recommended…read more I've been working with TIJ and his team for the past seven months, and they have been nothing short of outstanding. They've handled a wide range of projects in my home--interior painting, exterior repairs, and detailed finishing work--and every single job has been meticulous, beautifully executed, and completed right on schedule. TIJ is incredibly easy to work with: professional, communicative, reliable, and consistently thoughtful about the details that make a home feel well-cared-for. His associates reflect that same standard of care and workmanship. I've trusted them with both small fixes and larger projects, and the quality has been excellent across the board. If you want craftsmanship you can count on and a team who treats your home with respect, TIJ is the one to call. They've made a huge difference in my home, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

From initial communication to completion of job, Kind Painting proved to be a great choice. Our estimator, Andy, went over the scope of the job and explained things really well. Communication with contracts and scheduling was painless and quick. The crew did the work in one day so our lives were not disrupted. The Crew Forman, Carlos, was available and easy to talk with. The job manager Becki, was pleasant and thorough. In the final walkthrough, she saw a few minor fixes we didn't even notice. Those fixes were addressed quickly. The house, 113 years old, looks great and loved. Thank you Kind Painting.

They also went above and beyond on a few extra asks along the way, no complaints, Honestly hard to find someone this good across so many different types of work. It included engineered hardwood and porcelain tile flooring, Nuage slab counters everywhere, sinks, faucets, toilets... We did use outside electricians and painters, which we were told had to wait an entire week while the hardwood floors guy did his thing. I was texted a message by A Flores himself that the dude would straight up walk off the job if anyone else were there at the same time, even if they weren't interfering with his work. Because of this person's refusal to play nice with others, we had to stay in a hotel an additional week while the other work (baseboards, painting) got finished. I can't give five stars to this business, even though the owner is EXTREMELY clear when communicating and he'll never leave your messages hanging, waiting for a response. I did not like being responsible for buying/picking every single thing (sinks, faucets, a ton of flooring, caulk color) and it would've been nice to have had higher quality suggestions made so that I didn't feel I had to find my own materials. They did a great job on our niche, which has thinks like rounded ceramic tiles instead of the vile shluter thing that they had been planning on doing. There was also quite an issue with getting a double full bullnose edge to the counters: I assumed they were going to do that but they basically nickel and dimed us to get it the way we wanted. Lesson: be extremely careful when your project has a lot of moving parts (and people).

As one of the other reviewers said, these guys use subcontractors of varying quality. They had to…read morerefinish the floor 3 times because the owner insisted on sending the same crew back each time (which makes sense if using a fixed-price sub - keeps their profit intact). I communicated my concerns professionally (and almost apologetically) with the owner as we went, but I'm not sure that any of them were addressed directly with the crew - rather they were just given basic instructions at the start of each day to fix the problems from the last go 'round. I'll give them credit for trying to make it right, and the floor looks a lot better than it did when they started, but it still wasn't 100% at the end and they didn't want to listen to any more complaints. A list of items specific issues that as far as I can tell were never communicated back to the crew: - The first thing the crew leader did was take a dump in my bathroom, without asking, and made this a daily ritual. - They didn't bother to cover anything up before sanding - no sheathing between rooms, no covers over the vents - so dust was everywhere in the house. At least I had the good sense to turn off the HVAC, but still had to change the air filters several times before they finished the job. - They sanded/buffed the carpet, trashing it where the carpet meets the hardwood. - Stain was applied in some places across grain / boards rather than same direction leading to stripes (1st attempt), and inconsistently leading to dark splotches (2nd attempt). - They used my ladder (from the garage) without asking. - They left gobs of topcoat around trim and puddling elsewhere. - They did not take the time to use filler properly after the second attempt - there are dark spots around nails, knots, and where sanding was rough. - Hand sanding was quite rough in several areas leading to dark stain, especially around trim, cabinets, toilet, etc. And they didn't thoroughly clean or screen before coating in several places, leading to dirt and debris in the finish. - Stain spatter was left on the wall from brush work and flinging wet towels. The sinks were a left an absolute mess. - There was no real cleanup to speak of and patches of grass are dead in the front yard where they cleaned stain off their tools and equipment. - The "suicide cord" they were using to connect to 240V was a fire and safety hazard. After attempting to share my last round of concerns (not asking for them to redo it again but rather just trying to share some of the issues for future improvement), Anthony told me to stop looking so closely and asked, "You gonna blast us on the internet?" indicating his level of concern. For a website that touts their high level of professionalism and reputation, the crew did not reflect it. If I wasn't a professional contractor myself, then this might have been a traumatic experience. And if I knew the crew and could have hired them directly, then I would have undoubtedly paid half as much... but then they might not have redone it 3 times (especially because I would have kicked them out after the second attempt). I never asked for a discount, and one was certainly never offered. I'm leaving 2 stars because on Yelp that means it "could've been better" but for the price I paid to go with the "pros" I regret not giving one of the other bidders a chance.
