Dogs are made welcome and cyclists and walkers who have taken advantage of the local countryside have welcomed the warm wood burning fires in the winter months. I like that you can personalise your meal by choosing a main course and then adding vegetables as desired. The desserts are also home made - cheescakes are a speciality. The pies are made with a family heritage pastry from the owner's grandmother. The chef offers specialities on a weekly basis. With so much inventive spirit, plus everything so well-sourced and made from scratch, I think we can safely say that this 30-seater café is a better option for the serious foodie than a lot of fine dining places. Well what a find and totally by accident, only been open in its new location for 3 months. They also had 10oz fillet steak on which we are told is excellent so may try one next time, they had a good fish selection on as well.
