I think I've found my go-to plumber. I had a clogged kitchen sink and called Dave at 8am, leaving a message. He returned my call within about 10 minutes. After I explained the issue, he said he could be there by 10am. It turned out the P-trap was probably around 80 years old and likely original to the house. He ended up cutting it out, snaking about 30 feet of the kitchen line, and installing all new drain pipes under the sink. The whole job took about two hours. He was very mindful of how gross the old pipe was and made sure to keep the area clean while he worked. I'd definitely recommend him. Thanks for being available so quickly. read more

I can't recommend David Wallace of Wallace Plumbing highly enough! I had a tricky water issue and David took the time to troubleshoot everything with me over the phone -- completely free of charge. He was incredibly nice, responsive, and followed up with both calls and texts right away. The solution he gave me worked perfectly and saved me the cost of having another plumber come out for a house call. It's rare to find someone this honest, helpful, and committed to customer service. I'll absolutely be using David for all my future plumbing needs! read more

Called Dave about an issue I was having with my dishwasher leaking and he immediately got back to me. Told me to call him back with any issues, which I did, and he patiently walked me through a next set up steps. It can be tough to find people you can trust when you're not particularly handy (I am not), but Dave is a straight shooter. He gets all the stars. read more

I called Wallace Plumbing after dealing with ongoing issues from a kitchen drain that was improperly installed by our original contractor. I found David on Yelp in 2012 and he's done several jobs for us over the years. When I contacted him about our current problem, we exchanged texts and out of the blue he helped me source a replacement faucet to match our existing that went bad and is now out of production. This was above and beyond my expectations. I got the replacement, and scheduled David for the installation. He showed up as promised and everything went smoothly and we are thrilled our plumbing nightmare is over. David is very knowledgeable, friendly, and cares about the quality of his work. David is the man, with amazing customer service and a keen eye. I'm fairly handy myself, but I contacted him because I needed two things; a certification for insurance purposes, and help with fix OR replacing a leaky shower head. He called me back ASAP, and was able to fit me in later that same day. In under an hours time, he completed his formal assessment of my water valves, walked me through the faucet fix so I can do it later myself (even helped my find the correct parts online) and spotted a previously unknown, but fairly basic, issue with my water heater! And then he helped build me a shopping list and a walkthrough of how to fix it. Throughout the whole process I felt like I was communicating with a human, not a money-hungry employee, which is exactly what I was looking for. His time is extremely valuable and worth every penny. I've found my new plumber. read more

David is hands down the best in the game. There was a leak in the neighboring unit below ours that seemed to be stemming from our unit. After some research we found David and called. After explaining our situation, he offered his insight and was able to come out that weekend to diagnose and confirm that the leak was a result of a wax ring issue. He walked us through what needed to be done, explaining everything clearly and patiently. What really stood out was his diligence -- he took his time to do the job right, making sure everything was sealed properly and cleaned up perfectly afterward. On top of fixing the leak, David shared a ton of helpful advice about general plumbing maintenance and what to watch out for in the future. You can tell he truly cares about his work and wants his clients to feel confident and informed. If you're looking for a plumber who's honest, skilled, and goes the extra mile, David is your guy. I had the most amazing experience with Dave from Wallace Plumbing. First off he came all the way to Manhattan Beach from the Westside to fix my faucet. Second, his price was more than a third less than a quote I got from another plumber. And last but not least he did an excellent job fixing my faucet in a very timely manner. To top it off he could not be any nicer! So respectful, knowledgeable, nice and not once did he try to "upsell" or tell me something was wrong like some other plumbers like to do. I will always go up Dave for any future work! read more

David was really great. He is communicative, and he also was willing to take the time to assess whether it was an easy fix or not first. I had an old leaky shower. One plumber told me he would have to replace the shower control trim and valves for $400-$600. David said he would charge his hourly rate (which was very reasonable), and it could be as simple as replacing some washers. Or it could be more complicated, he won't know until he sees it. It turns out he was right, and he replaced a few simple parts and was done within the hour. I will definitely call him again for any future plumbing problems. read more
