I recently got 2 partially bony wisdom teeth extracted with a bone graft and it went so smoothly. I slept the first day from the anesthesia, but the next day I woke up feeling very little pain and no swelling. My wife just got an implant done and her recovery has been great as well. The front office has also been fine... until my last visit. Way too much to share here but the unprofessionalism, inarticulate communication, and lack of compassion of the new young girl in front gets 1/5 stars. But what really upset me was my interaction with whom I think is the office manger (she never introduced herself). She literally came into the procedure room to "reprimand" me for having a quiet patient to patient conversation in the empty waiting room. Extremely unprofessional and just wild. It was shocking. I also believe the young girl went the "manger" because the manger didn't make sense and wasn't even in the front office while I was in the waiting room. I will be making a formal complaint to DHCS. Her action was uncalled for and a huge problem. She gets 0/5 stars.

If I could give no stars I would…read more That has been a back-and-forth struggle since February of this year - 2026. I came to the Dentist on the recommendation of someone close. After the exam, I was told I needed a deep cleaning, a root canal, a crown, and oral surgery for wisdom teeth removal. Besides the wisdom teeth removal, which I was told would be about $147, the prices vary between $685 - $795. I have Insurance and I asked them if this was before or after Insurance coverage. They said after insurance. I made two separate appointments and paid over $300 each for those appointments - just for a deep cleaning. Because money was tight, and I needed to budget and figure out how to make the rest of it work. You go into a dentist office for the first time, trusting that they know what they're doing - not just the job with your teeth, but the billing. Do you know what happened? I called my insurance the next week to get more information about coverage because $685 for deep cleaning did not seem right to me. I called the dentist office for the ADA codes to know what was necessary in case I needed that information. This Dentist was in network, coverage should not be an issue. And I'm told by my insurance that it is covered. 80% covered. I'll state the facts: I was charged two separate amounts totaling over $700, the ADA codes were not submitted correctly to my insurance, a balanced billing complaint was necessary because they refused to refund me, they gave me the runaround. After investigation, it was deemed that a deep cleaning was unnecessary and I had no responsibility to pay. They dragged their heels for a little over a month after the resolution letter came back saying they needed to refund me, my insurance had to call them and ask for that refund on my behalf because I had no patience for their games. Ask for a predetermination. I would have if I had known. Ask for it. Because the billing is hell and this was never supposed to happen but it did. This has been ongoing since February and we're at the end of August. You know what I was supposed to pay for that deep cleaning with insurance coverage? $112.80 by my calculations. See the price difference? I do. So ask for the predetermination if you don't want to take my word for it. Because you can trust, but you must verify.

So I had to go back again for them to redo it. When leaving, I needed an implant so I made an appointment and asked if it is covered by insurance. Sure it will be I was told. After waiting months for my appointment, I show up and am handed a bill for $2,500 dollars. What?! And then I was told I didn't have enough on my insurance because of the chipped tooth repair work. I could have waited. Why didn't they tell me this when I asked?! Then I asked why this was so expensive and they said I'm being billed based on my zip code. Great, so they are overcharging me. Also, I needed to sign a form that I understand my dentist is an independent contractor. So they are like stylists at a hair salon renting a chair there? They have a big sign at the front saying how they were voted best this and best that. I wonder how much they paid for those. No way. I will never use them again and I don't recommend them at all. His expertise was evident, but what stood out even more was the genuine care he showed my son. He has a wonderful way of making both kids and parents feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. Dr. Crum also brought in Dr. Stafford, the dentist anesthesiologist, who was equally outstanding.
