I bought Hunter Douglas Luminette blinds from Rosanti Flooring and was disappointed in both the…read moreinstallation and the quality of the blinds. After only four years, my blinds developed three small holes, as if an insect chewed on that section of the blinds. Unfortunately for me, the owner Peter came out and refused to put in a claim with Hunter Douglas. The Hunter Douglas quality is so overrated, both the material and the mechanism are poor quality. I have had to undo the rod that is used to open the blinds because the mechanism was installed incorrectly. Long story short, I replaced the Hunter Douglas blinds with Bali Motorized light filtering shades and was amazed at the quality and the build of the blinds. Hands down so much better quality and better value. I will never recommend Hunter Douglas and Rosanti Flooring, stay away!

I tried calling various numbers, texting, emailing and got no reply!! I felt I had committed to working with her and lost 3 months before I finally understood that she was just so unprofessional and, for whatever reason, did not plan to work with me. It was SO UNEXPECTED that, for weeks, I believed something terrible must have happened to either her or someone close to her and she just couldn't get back to me. I even checked the obituary!! Eventually i found some reviews and read that this same thing had happened to someone else!! DO NOT count on her. FIND SOMEONE ELSE. She still has all my fabric swatches and has refused to return them after multiple messages requesting I do so!!

I stopped at another place in Southampton and left right away because I could tell it was just beyond what we could afford. All custom everything. On a whim decided to stop at Hamptons Carpet One and it was one of the best decisions I made regarding the ADU! Eugenia greeted us and gave us an honest, up front assessment of our needs and what would work. We never felt pressured. We walked away so much informed and decided to go with engineered flooring instead of the LVT. We let our builder know about our visit. He was just as excited about the product we found. The next thing we know, we're ordering 36 boxes of engineered wood flooring that looks BEAUTIFUL. Excellent quality at an affordable price with great service. These peope know their stuff, and even when I called, and spoke to other staff, it was like talking to family. So helpful. I can't recommend them enough! I'm grateful we have a resource like them on the East End. They serve all sorts of clientele. Again, are very knowledgeable and although we didn't need them to install, they offered a great package if they did. You have to stop in at least once in your journey for the right flooring. Thank you Eugenia and the staff at Hamptons Carpet One Floor & Home!

My husband on speakerphone could hear the man screaming at me. People were staring. This employee clearly has a massive anger issue. I called the business and the woman said "I'm sorry that happened, that's the world now." No, that's your employee and their behavior was completely unacceptable.

We saw they had a one-day annual sale in September, so off we went to explore what they had. We were blown away by the breadth of selection for not only carpets and rugs, but all types of flooring, window treatments and textiles. This is one of the rare remaining non-chain places that clearly takes pride in both wide selection and customer service. We were greeted upon arriving by Paula, who was deftly handling a couple of other shoppers, and were thrilled she took the time to devote her attention to us so quickly. We came with room layouts with dimensions and a range for each room's rug type possibilities we'd already felt could work. Paula helped us zoom right in to both new roll and remnant possibilities quickly. We chose and sat down to work through the edge finishing options within minutes. The owner was circulating, answering questions, and we came to know that everyone around us had worked for him for a decade or more. Between the care taken by Paula and her teammates and the ease of the transaction, we confirmed how both the new roll and remnants would be cut and finished, and were connected with an excellent delivery service to bring our finished goods to the city. Not for a minute did we feel rushed or not completely looked after. Not only will the Carpetman see us again for both our East End and City-based needs, we've already urged others to go there who are in the market for rugs, flooring, window treatments and the like.
