I TOO HAD A BAD EXPERENCE WITH THE OWNER STEVE, AS GOOGLE AND YELP REVEWS SHOW. Just so you know,…read moreI'm a 60 year old, gray hair woman, with a nice silver Honda CRV. Someone (Don) I had met at the senior center when my car's serpentine belt came off, was a friend of Steve's mechanic Craig (he must be a saint) said, that he could fix it for me. I was told it could be done the following Sunday. Don and I arrive around 10:40 am, and there was a huge semi parked in front of the office, where I thought we were going into...Don, who was a very poor communicator the whole week as well, (because he had to control everything, all the time) went to the right towards the mechanics building (I didn't see the sign) and I went to the left, and parked in front of the office. I saw 2 guys on forklifts, so I waved and smiled at them. And before I could get out of my car, Steve (didn't know he was the owner) yells at me..."WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I said out my window, "I'm with him", pointing at Don across the way. Steve then says, "You need to leave, you're not supposed to be here". I said, "How do you know what I'm supposed to be doing, I'm obviously here for a reason". Well, that pissed him off and he said, something else, again condescending me, to which I said, "Do I look like a criminal? Do not condescend me". He got off the lift and went running to Craig to tell him, not to help me. So Satan's tool, wins again.... ALL BECAUSE OF HIS INSECURE, SEXIST EGO!!!

The guys behind the counter were super friendly and chatty. I ended up ordering their tomato and burrata sandwich with pesto (which is walnut free, yay!) and it was truly one of the best sandwiches I ever had. I honestly did not expect much going in (I mean, it's in a gas station!) but I was completely blown away. The sandwiches are HUGE, and loaded with fillings, and the bread is fresh-baked ciabatta. I have paid triple the price I paid here (I think my sandwich was like, $12?) for meals that were not a tenth as good. My partner and my MIL were pleased as well. They are both meat-eaters and can attest that this spot does NOT skimp on the meat the way some sandwich shops do. In all, this is a great spot to come in and pick out some stuff for a party spread, and is a must if you are in Walla Walla for lunch. I will definitely be back. After setting up a time to bring my car by, I showed up and he clearly explained the process and his pricing so there wouldn't be any surprises as to what I could expect. The guy was very honest and charged my AC right up to be ice cold again. He checked all of my tubes, lines, and parts than could relate to any coolant leaks and found nothing but said to bring it back if I have any issues. Overall, I had my car returned to me in just half a day and felt like the price he charged me was fair. He gave me an honest assessment of my compressor (likely one main reason behind my A/C issue at the age my car is at) and I feel great about coming back here if I ever need anything else.
