They have an excellent choice of beers, although the affordability is somewhat questionable. The food is rather outrageously expensive, but sitting on the terrace and sipping high-quality Belgian and Irish beers just next to the park has definitely some charm to it. Overall I would still recommend this place, even if I won't be adding to the list of my favorites anytime soon.

Presentation for all the plates was beautiful. Started with the escargots which were seasoned perfectly with the right touch of garlic. The tuna was just a tad bit over cooked, but still tasted great. The burgers were impressive. Big and juicy with a tarter sauce that worked well. Then came dessert. Moelleux au chocolat (chocolate lava cake) was awesome. Just the right amount of gooey center. The krumble petite lu (warm apple tart) was very good. Only thing missing was vanilla ice cream. They served it with mango, which wasn't terrible...but it wasn't vanilla. It is not the most kid friendly place, but the staff made it an excellent experience even with kids. And even the kids loved the food.

The reason seating is so limited is because the man working there is the owner, waiter, host, and chef. It's just him! Very impressive and definitely enhanced the experience. When you sit down he explains everything on the menu and how he prepares it. I had a red wine that he recommended and it was delicious! For dinner, I had the duck. It's truly as amazing as everyone says! However, the unsung hero is the salad that comes on the side. The dressing is a sort of mustard vinaigrette that I've never tasted before but will definitely be searching for in the future. I also had the chocolate fondant for dessert and the chocolate was so rich I ALMOST ;-) couldn't finish it. The chef puts so much thought and care into his dishes, which was evident in not only the taste of the food but the way he took the time to describe the process of each dish to us... et en anglais! We started with the chacuterie plate which had an amazing pâté. I ordered the duck- which was so soft and delicate. We were too full for dessert, but wish we had room to eat more. If I ever find myself back in Montpellier, I will definitely be back!
