Rustic? That's a stretch... but I loved it anyway…read more Had a great time at Dakota Hot Springs, but when they say "rustic," that might be giving it a little too much credit. Think more "DIY charm with deferred maintenance." Only one of the two showers in the men's bathroom worked, and the outdoor shower looked like it had retired early. The shade cloth overhead was thin, ripped, and flapping in the wind like it was waving a white flag. That said, the water itself? Perfect. The big pool stayed at a great temp, and if you wander into the "lobster pot," prepare to boil yourself like you're on the menu--it's hot hot. Lots of room to spread out and catch sun, which was a big plus. Now, the real warning: dusk. When the sun dips, the mosquitoes come out like they've been fasting for weeks. I heard it's thanks to the stagnant dump water nearby, and they make sure you know they're there. Pro tip: bring bug spray or plan your exit before happy hour for the skeeters. All in all--quirks, flapping tarps, and dive-bombing mosquitoes included--I'll definitely be back. Just don't come expecting "spa chic." This is a hot springs with character (and a sense of humor).

Copper River is an excellent place to bring your family! Really delicious food, great atmosphere,…read moreexcellent service. The escape rooms are lots of fun, and we love Trivia Night (Sundays). This is a location that has had a couple of businesses there in the past that had issues, so I was a little hesitant to try them - but is under new ownership and management. Trinity, Kit, and their staff are truly fantastic. Highly recommend. I love the burgers, flourless chocolate cake, and oh my goodness, the Kickin' Bourbon Wings are my favorite! my son loves the arcade. Now that it's getting warmer, we will have to try the miniature golf. Not sure why Yelp is blocking positive reviews? says "3 other reviews that are not currently recommended". that's kinda weird.

The staff is friendly and they have a lot of space for parties and gatherings. They offer bowling, live music, and assorted activities out side. It was raining so I was unable to see them all. Our Server Morgan was wonderful, we were her last table of the night so we got the best service. I recommend asking for her when you visit. The Band was wonderful, not to loud where you couldn't speak at the table. Great music and a huge dance floor which was full. Will go back for this half of the restaurant. Now for the mixed side, The Food!! We ordered two specials (Loaded potatoes with soup) a Club sandwich and their Smash burger. The Burger, I asked for the Fries to be cooked extra crispy, they came out cooked normal. I picked one up and it sagged. I showed our server and she did not hesitate try tomake it right. She came back in a few minutes and started the cook (kitchen manager Ben) said they came out crispy and was not going to fix it. Morgan offered to just put in another order and see if she could get it cooked right. Putting another order means some is paying for it.she said she would take care of it she wanted us to enjoy our visit. She should not have to pay for it. I asked for a manager, Kayla (the lead server) came over. Kayla was very professional and I showed her the fries. She went back to talk to Ben and he said they cook them for 3 min, crispy is 3:45 minutes. I asked for 5 min. He refused saying he would not send out food that was not cooked right... All this just for crispy fries! Kayla again very professional and should be promoted to a Manger position! She got Ben to cook the fries, they said 5 mins but only a few on top were crispy the ones under still soft. This all took 20 minutes going back and forth. The Burger itself was very good. Get the burger but don't ask for crispy fries! Now with this being said both the potatoes were lukewarm warm as well as the soup! Having the issue with Ben on fries they decided not to say anything and took most of the potatoes to go. The Club, I was told was good. To the owner: I understand standards for cooking food but If your patron is asking food to be cooked a certain way it helps if the kitchen Manager tries to accommodate. Like if a person wants a steak cooked well and the cook says no he only cooks it medium. Not good! If you have read this far I always want to end on a good note. This is a nice place I will go back to. The Beer is cold the music is great and the wait staff is excellent. Ask for Morgan or Kayla when you go in. They have other servers who we do not interact with but watching the floor looked like everyone was happy with a Rayleigh, Kaylee and Abby!
