History

Established in 1999.

Walker Woodworking has been building custom cabinets since 1999. Founder and CEO Travis Walker begin his venture as a hobby that latter turned into big dreams and those big dreams into what Walker Woodworking is today. He couldn't have dreamed from his humble beginnings that his company would grow to have completed the 400+ kitchens we've now been a part of. From starting in a garage by himself, Travis' business has grown to be housed in a 10,000 square foot shop having 20 full time employees including installers, shop employees, administrative staff, and an in house Kitchen and Bath Designer. After a tremendous demand in 1999, he incorporated the business in 2000.

Just like a lot of folks, over a period of time wasting money on furniture that doesn't last we learned the lesson: Don't go cheap buying furniture that's inexpensively made. It's a better value in the long run to buy household furniture that's made to last! Amelia's has really made us happy with this piece! So much so that we returned and purchased an extremely well made sofa and TV stand. There was an issue with the two delivery guys who wanted twice the agreed price to bring this huge and heavy piece into our home. I would be pleased to go into further detail if one would like to learn about the entire experience.
