What I didn't realize that cost me a lot of money is that whatever hours you don't use each month or lost! I was paying $500 a month for eight hours so two lessons a week. When we went back to school, we were scheduled for only one session a week, which I thought was fine because I didn't realize that each month when it bills you actually lose those hours so I have lost several hundred dollars if not 1000. When I went to cancel, they offered me a star tutor, and delayed several hours from expiring so that I could recoup some of my expenses, so I agreed to stay on longer with two sessions a week. However, the billing time is coming up again and it just leaves a really sour taste in my mouth that I will lose whatever hours I don't use.

The class was for ten year olds, was held three hours per day and included curmodgeonly rules like, stay focused or be punished, no getting out of seat, the one break must be taken while sitting inside the classroom. The instructor may have known a thing or two about movies but not a bit about teaching young kids. Waste of money on tuition plus twenty five more as a materials fee, feels like a jip.

When the first class started, they charged $35 more for the textbook. Keep in mind this was for a 50 minute, one night a week for one month, class. After EVERY class, my son, looking disappointed, complained he learned nothing because the teacher could not control the vocally disruptive students. One month later: $85 dollars down the drain...and a bummed out kid. I wrote a complaint email to the company. Two weeks later I received a sympathetic response with a promise to send a gift card. That was March 17th. Today is April 3rd. Still no gift card.
