The hair didn't shed much the entire 2 months I kept my extensions. The braids were easy to take down, styling was superb and all the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and good stylist. Bay-bee, my hair lasted 2 months with no problem. I only took it down because I wanted to wash and treat my natural hair. I'd recommend 3 Girls and a Needle for sure. As a matter of fact, I'm booking my second appointment tomorrow, 8am. Oh yeah, I was in at 6am and out by 8:15 am!

Wish I could have supported this business, but being turned around without even being asked to set an appointment or anything else is upsetting. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth to not even want to try again.

They also charged me an additional 50 dollars for the density of my hair. Much of my consultation was spent talking about their products. Shea Locs has multiple locations and it felt like a sales-y franchise situation. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with my experience and will not be continuing my loc journey here. On a positive note, the shop was clean, they had good music playing and I was promptly greeted.

He received a two-Strand twist, but the ends of his hair had the knots that you would normally see on a woman's hair style. In my opinion, a males style should not have the knots, it should be straight. The only other concern is the wait. He had a 10am appt and didn't leave until 2p. That's absolutely too long. Again, that's my opinion. My service takes 2hrs and I also have locs to the middle of my back.

Officially checked in at 9:08am after another stylist opened shop. Scheduled stylist (Renee) did not arrive until ~9:30am. After washing / conditioning, she was shown photos of requested haircut. Unfortunately, the bangs were chopped way too short, and not connected to the sides of the hair. And did not layer per the photo. The only saving grace is that some of the longer pieces in the top / back that didn't get layered can be pulled forward to hide the chopped off bangs. This is the 3rd or 4th appt with salon over the last 2 years. One prior appt also started late, and at an appt for braids with extensions they didn't have the right color and had not informed us, so braids were 2-tone. I should have taken the hint. Won't be back.

I really don't like people cutting my hair, but my relative came here before and had a decent experience, so I decided to come here as well. Jessica cut my hair. I told her to only cut about an inch off and even gave her a reference photo. I demonstrated with my fingers how much to cut as well. She said okay and started cutting right away. My hair ended up 8 inches shorter!!! The layers are so short and the bangs aren't even close to what I imagined. After the cut, I was sent to receive a shampoo. The man there did very well and it was relaxing with the massage. That was the only good part about this experience. After I was done shampooing, they both blow dried my hair then she started to put a hot iron on it--with no heat protectant. After that, she started cutting more again. It was uneven because she didn't even bother to fix my middle part after the wash. I asked her if she could fix my part, but she told me that it's okay and to just put it any kind of way. Seriously? I paid 60+ tip, which I shouldn't have even done. I didnt realize how short it was until I left. I screamed inside of my car because I was so angry.
